- In this head to head. I compare Meguiar's Gold Class Carnauba Plus Premium Paste Car Wax Vs Meguiar's Cleaner Wax Paste. So gold class is around $11 dollar and Quick wax is around $7 dollars. The winner to me is the Meguair's cleaner wax. It perform on the same level as the gold class and costs less. So Meguair's cleaner wax wins!

Great video. huge fan. thanks
Start with the cleaner wax, it cleans and polishes the surface, then put down the Gold wax for the finish coat... Bam ! Car is done. Love this product
Would it be a substitute for clay bar in a sense the cleaner wax ?
"What are you gonna do? - It was an accident!" - is that a line from Good Fellas? Brilliant!
Meguiar's Gold Carnauba is the best in the video 👍!
thanks for watching!!

You can't compare the two. The cleaner wax is just that, a two in one. Basically it's Fine Cut Cleaner with was infused. The Gold Wax is just that, wax with no abrasive to clean the paint. Yes I've used Meguiars for over 20 years. I use the cleaner wax every 6 months while I use the Gold Wax monthly...
At what time do you strip clean all wax from the car to prevent build up of old wax?
It doesn't help that the car is white tho lol but I think gold class has a deeper gloss and shine?
They look about same but i would say gold class lasts longer
The difference is is the one is a cleaner wax. It’s a two in one ! Like the one person said, used to clean a wax first, and put a coat of the other wax on top of it
nice video buddy keep them up
thanks!
Do i have to clay the vehicle before using the cleaner wax ? Im a beginner so not familiar or can i just wash the vehicle very good then wax it ?
Yes, if that paint feels rough
@@JMCDetailing paint feels fairly smooth to the touch, the vehicle is about 5 months old
@@bayclass510 yes then you can wash it after a good wash
i'd be interested in a month's passing follow up result. identical treatment regarding using the two different waxes on either side.
ergo: left with gold, right with red Maguire's with time frame used being one month. to see some real world/day to day driving results that would impact on the products' results...priceless!.
A time proven result with the same water test would be immensely helpful .
1: no car wash with water wash down. 2: then a post car wash, using Maguire's car wash product (that supposedly doesn't remove wax). then repeat same water hose example.
It seems like with the gold side's water runs off being faster, leaving less beading/water marks on the hood. but the red side beading faster with less run off which would theoretically leave beads, but...treatment would last longer.
A time proven, real world update/personal test/result would be greatly appreciate :-)
thank you for posting!!! I appreciate the hard work and time that went into this posting and review thus far.
thanks, man!
Ninguna cera dura sin un sellador.
Le pones un glaze después de encerado a lo último sellador y pum brillo extremo. No olviden usar reset de car pro antes de cada aplicación. O
I wax my car nearly every week and in the past year and a half I have used MANY different waxes. Some buff off easier than others. All the waxes I have used do a good job. Each person has their favorites. At a hardware store I found some Johnson's Kit, whipped carnauba wax. Same as they had in the 1960's except clearcoat safe. I found this one buffed very easy and had a brilliant shine. I haven't seen this wax in the main stream stores though.
felix73339 what wax is your favorite
Right now I would say a toss up between Meguires Gold and the Meguires cleaner wax, but the Johnson's Kit is right up there also. My next wax purchase will probably be Mother's carnauba, then I want to try Turtle Ice. There are MANY good quality products out there and I have a well waxed car.
mothers carnauba is hard to beat.
if am waxing my car.. there are some powder resedue whem im buffing it? why?
You might be applying too much. The only time you should get a powder residue is from some compound.
Professional Automotive Detailing no sir.. im just waxing my car. i allow it to dry into haze. after that when im buffing it, there are powder residue. or maybe the weather.. coz its a little hot here now in the philippines.
Clint Cristobal ya your applying a little to much. the residue is normal though when it drys to much
I used creaner waxs it lasted 3.month on my car in nyc traffic
About the same..but in a white car is hard to tell.
Lo puedo encerar cada 4 meses sin dañar la pintura de mi carro😊
