5:39 gix’s command didn’t need an untapped land if you were to sacrifice the bloodtithe harvester to kill Thalia - sacrificing that blood token was risky!
So cool to see someone playing a grixis midrange deck, I’ve been playing a midrange/vampires deck in pioneer/explorer using the obvious Sorin/ghalta combo. It’s actually surprisingly efficient with Bitter Reunion for a turn 4 combo with haste and maestros charm can rush an escaped kroxa turn 4 (turn 2 kroxa, turn 3 charm puts 5 cards in grave, then turn 4 can escape kroxa). I’m still trying to figure out if Xander is worth keeping, and Olivia can reanimate basically every creature in the deck, plus I’m considering testing Voldaren Thrillseeker for the backup 2 sacrifice ability to just beam 14 damage from ghalta to the face. I just want to brag about it a little because it did fairly well at my lgs in a highly competitive pioneer setting and I haven’t had the chance to sign up for it in a while…
The bladecoil at 12:00 probably should have been RRUUBBBB. You had the mana to make it happen, and if they lost both of their remaining cards they probably wouldn't have been able to just untap and answer it.
11:49 I feel like you should have made your 2 red with the Spires and used your Xander's Lounge to make a black, and done RR, UU, BBBB and made them discard both their cards rather than you doing what you did and drawing 2 but leaving them with 1 card in hand.
I think a lot of players are missing out not playing it alongside mana rocks or treasure. If your draw 2 but cant cast the things, its useless. But if you are able to get something good, like a wandering emperor, it could really change the entire game. Personally i want to see someone test it alongside chandra, hopes beacon.
That gixrs command was beautiful
It made me feel things!
It's criminal that this deck got such a short video. I demand a rerun of this deck on cgb's channel.
Game 1. So..so...satisfying

Great gameplay!
CGB making fun of that last control deck was too funny. Great content!
🤩Greatest Gix's Command of all time! 😛

Gd addition is also the Hellkite as it combines well with Decedent Dragon and the haste helps finish of games. Great content as always!
Ogosh t2 harvester just reminds me of fable standard nightmare last year 🤢🤢🤢
Buen video!!
Cant wait to try this, and I've noticed from using bladecoil even if you dont pay the red it gets haste just misses out on the extra power
That's a bug on Arena, so enjoy it before they fix it to work they way it should I guess.

"I don't put lands in my deck!" -CGB
XD
i play similar mill deck from sonio. jace and mindbreaker is lethal by turn 6.
Cgb represent!
You only drew 5 lands in the top 29 in that last game. That means that out of the remaining 29 cards, 21 of them were lands. Grixis baby!
Cut Down, Bloodtithe Harvester, and Sheoldred, wow... cool deck!
I was a bit thrown off by Decadent Dragon not having mana-fixing. I guess adventure means it's never a dead draw, so it's fine to have that downside
It has fixing because the dragon makes treasures, but yeah it doesn't have "can use mana of any color"

Playing against this deck on a green day is a basket case
Not a SINGLE siphon insight?? So close to perfect.
I love the Siphon Insight and Decadent dragon combo, just stealing the whole deck
The card advantage from TWO cards that both replace themselves and can be replayed is insane, love it so much.
Decandant dragon in grixis but no siphon insight? Unsubscribe
