glad to know that newer cdrama bromance can get away from bad ending nowadays unlike Guardian ;') dang I wish we can have sort of alternate ending but even that leaked scene was unfinished product T.T

But do I still wish for past shows to reshoot some scene ect. under todays standard, just so we have more than crumbs of romance.....HELL YEAH OF COURSE!!!
@@whats_creativity i dont think they are less affected (see what happened with Killer & Healer). the censorship is still strict but I think historical drama somehow can avoid that by playing around with old chinese idioms / poems which is indirect ways of expressing feelings. But yeah Guardian's ending is still worst of all, imagine having the author herself to came up with extra chapter just to console our broken hearts after that ending ? ;') Glad that Priest dont have to do the same thing for WOH XD
@@rosenana708 But even after reading the extra chapter's, I still cry while rewatching Guardian T•T I know the censorship itself hasn't really changed, but what I felt also with other productions, is that they seem to get more creative and allow themselves to find more ways to convey the feelings of the characters(more than before).
U know what I mean? Like nothing makes me more happy than watching a scene and having to ask myself how that was able to pass censorship😂😂
Let there be more moments like that for C-Dramas in the future🙏✨

for me guardian is more than perfect. maybe i'm looking into it too much, but i loved the friendship they all had and it makes me feel so cozy?? guardian is really my comfort series.
I must say its mostly due to chemistry between baiyu and zhu yilong 😊😊 i still cant forget how intense shen laoshi looking at yunlan and how flirty yunlan is (though the plot of the drama, the cgi are all messed up).
But yes, its really a comfort series :')

this is one of my favourite dramas and one of the reasons why I started liking Chinese BL adopted dramas , and now I am obsessed with them and The Guardian too

Guardian is my fav BL but seriously I don't understand one thing. When Zhao Yun Lan went to the past and returned ,Shen Wei waited for 10000 years to meet him again. Ok , so this is the story.
But in present ZYL went to past when he was actually with SW ,so there was two Shen Wei's he met at the same time with small time gap. One past and future. So did the past Shen Wei wait for another 10000 years again 👀?? DID I MAKE SENSE 🥴? I have been trying to figure out for a long time sjsjsjsjsjsjkkjk
I pretty sure the past and future Shen Wei is the same person? Just the past SW is just like memory. Without the past SW there will be no future SW. Basically past SW has to wait for 10000 years while future SW has endured these 10000 years waiting for ZYL 😭😭

Seeing Shen Wei on my feed made me almost fall over because 🙈❤️ looking forwards to more though ^^
It’s legit funny how ZYL says Shen Wei low key haunts him as a role/character to this day (no pun intended). Think it’s because like SW, ZYL passes out after a single sip of wine (I ain’t even kidding he says this in interviews nowadays & also this role made him a low-key icon 🤣😅).
I remember watching the series back in 2018 and Shen Wei caught my eyes right away when he appeared on the screen. And that drunk scene was hilarious 🤣🤣🤣 but I'm glad Long ge is doing well even now (I still remember my first trip to china and seeing his face like almost everywhere 😂😂 kfc, subway, and yogurt drink)

(Probs more so because he was in another drama with a big BL CP/ship after Guardian last year in the summer which was just... yeah😂 he sponsors so many things). ❤️💙
