So for anybody wondering, here's the deal with Effect Spore. From Gen 6 onwards the Ability works like this: "When a Pokémon with this Ability is hit by a move that makes contact, there is a 9% chance of poison, 10% chance of paralysis, and 11% chance of sleep. Grass-type Pokémon, Pokémon with Overcoat, and Pokémon holding Safety Goggles are immune to Effect Spore."

Definitely a challenge where the beginning is the biggest slog, and then once you get through that there's little challenge til the E4. Fighting megas with unevolved Pokemon is pretty rough, as is the parade of Megas that the E4 had. But you kept it to a stunningly low death count!
I like how John kept Sand Attack throughout. I usually keep the useful early game moves just for fun.

Imagine if the upcoming Legends Z-A game will allow players to use Mega Evolution multiple times in every battle they're in. This would be seen as a post-game reward of course, but I think it would be worth it if you could create a full team of Pokémon that can Mega Evolve.
I don't do hacked runs, but if I was doing this, I would've gone to the desert after beating Flannery to collect the root fossil. I think Cradily would've been a good Pokémon for this run.

How does someone mess up a plural so badly?
The plural of Pokémon is just Pokémon , but even if you added an s to make it Pokémons, the apostrophe is ridiculous and never added for plurals.
