The GenAI capabilities demonstrated here represent a current proof of concept within our internal development environment. This PoC shares many similarities with the SAP Build Apps you are familiar with, but incorporates advanced AI functionalities.
Behind the scenes, a suite of multimedia utilities and AI services enables this GenAI feature to process generic pictures or videos of reasonable size. Additionally, it supports multi-round text or voice-based interactions, maintaining a context window throughout the conversation.
While this is still an early-stage development, we are actively working to make it more robust and general. Please stay tuned, as we are only beginning to scratch the surface of what this technology can achieve. The final product should be a more refined and powerful tool (without promises 🤗).

Hope you enjoyed the Labs Preview session - our vision is to bring powerful app building tools into everyone's hands, so that you can go from a napkin sketch to a working app in minutes. In this video we demo two of the ongoing projects to make that a reality: SAP UI5 components support in SAP Build Apps and image-to-app/video-to-app using generative AI. Together we hope to provide a fast-paced No-Code development experience with batteries included: dynamic theming, internationalization and accessibility.
While these projects are still ongoing development and there isn't an ETA set you can expect more news about it on our official channels!
