Didn't know his parents BOTH played varsity sports AND that both attended Ivy League schools. So, Fernando is tall, smart, athletic, fast, and good at being a quarterback, and he just transferred with two years of eligibility to a school that took a QB (Rourke) from Ohio U and got him (Rourke) to 9th in the Heisman voting (even with a broken thumb and an ACL injury).. Wow. IU is going to be really good for the next four years. Two years of Fernando as a junior and senior and then two years of Alberto as a junior and senior.
First of all- the Cal Football Program SUCKS... Secondly- he'll increase his Draft Stock if he goes to a better Power 4 School... Thirdly- he has the opportunity to receive _Life-Changing_ money via the Transfer Portal even if he falls flat (or- Heaven forbid- has a Career-ending injury) at his new School and ends up Undrafted...
It will be interesting to see the Indiana/Notre Dame outcome on Friday because it could be the deciding factor to where he goes. I would love for him to go to the IRISH and not Indiana.
He's from Miami and loved the U (so he particularly hates your favorite school) and his younger brother was already at IU. So he was never going to go to Notre Dame. Good luck against Penn State, by the way. Should be a good game.
His brother plays for IU. I think he could end up at IU just because Cignetti values production over everything else.
Good analysis!

I hope he ends up at IU baby
IU, I hope...he seems to have "the it" factor.
Why he leaving team gave him a shot
Who cares, coaches get to leave whenever they want
@@spikeobama5572 That doesn't answer the question and who gives a shit what coaches do. Coaches aren't players.

@@spikeobama5572u right. I'm for the players. I'm just asking.
@@brianknapp6215ha...Cal is a trash place nobody ever made it in nfl from cal.
I question the scouts and people who give out 'stars'
Often you see players under-rated and over-rated
video on mendoza but not john mateer 💀
You don’t “row crew.” His dad either rowed or was on the crew team.
I "rowed crew" at Indiana back in the 1980s. Yeah. That's what we called it. So calm down.
I say Miami

It is my opinion that the Heisman people really fumbled the ball when they gave hunter the award. The wrong man was given the Heisman.
HOOSIER!
Great story but he won’t be playing on sundays
He'll be the 1st overall pick in the draft. Get a clue, dude.
@ clearly someone never heard of sarcasm
@ hell for sure be drafted what pick no clue I just know with his stats it’s not even a question
@@Foxracing218 And maybe comedy isn't really your thing?
He will end up at wisconsin
How bad does that Florida State loss look in retrospect 😬
