Excellent video! What is difficult to understand is how in a medieval society did industrial production and commerce take off when the great majority of the populace were serfs or landless peasantry who collectively had limited monetary purchasing power with which to purchase industrial products???
One thing I would add to this is that cotton was extremely expensive in Europe at this time, hence making wool more important.

Wage labor and a money economy grew in the late Middle Ages. I recommend "Guilds and Wage Labor in Medieval Europe" by Steven Epstein.
