I’ll freely admit that NASCAR doesn’t exactly have the highest levels of downforce imaginable at 200+ MPH, but I still think the physics in this may be a tiny bit off.
The older (S197 and earlier) Mustangs had live rear axles, which made it much easier to get the rear to come around. The newer ones have fully independent rear suspension, which makes it significantly harder to spin, hence almost all Mustang spinout videos feature S197 or older Mustangs.

Well, it has a kind of logical sense: nascar cars have basically no downforce that can keep them on the asphalt in sudden elevation changes, and they fly away in fast turns for the same thing, that's why nascar turns are banked
