- Cape Town celebrity chef Fatima Sydow has been laid to rest. She passed away yesterday after a battle with cancer. Sydow wrote cookbooks, appeared on TV shows and had a substantial social media following. Yazeed Kamaldien reports.

My sincere condolences on the passing of Fatima. Before I heard about Fatima death, a friend asked me to cook South African dishes. He specifically asked for Bobotie in his British accent.
