I second that motion. Big bass are nice, but you don't often get to see monster Gills like that anywhere really. Sheriff (R.I.P) must be tellin' his cousins to bite
@@EricM93 not yet but i will. Black hula popper, buzzbait, popper frogs, and black worm. All the biggest possible. Especially full moon. Big baits big fish. Thank you
Didn’t even know they made worms that long. I will have to order some to try. Thanks for the video! You apologized in case it was a boring video. It’s anything but that brother. All your videos are enjoyable to watch.
Love the videos and the variety of content you post, keep up the great work! Made myself an order for some of those worms and few other goodies as well!
We've had some crazy weather with record lows in April and it rained for a week straight and cooled the water back down. The bass and bluegills don't know what to do!
I’ve got a good question here that I’m trying to get an answer to and understand. I’ve been fishing a farm pond for about 3-4 years now and have always caught 1-2 lb bass. Just a week ago I seen a dead bass on the bank that had died and gotten a little chewed up but it was a good 5-6 pounder. I’ve fished big worms and everything in this pond and can’t seem to get one bigger than 2lbs to bite. Any tips?
My grandparents live very close to there they live in foley and my dad grew up there I never knew the fishing was that good over there. And roll tide!!
what line are you using with big worms ? i've got some big worms i want to start fishing and i use straight braid most of the time but if i can catch more on other line i will try it
I've been smashing the largies in about 4-6 fow on shell beds up here in Ontario on some northern strains. I've also had bluegills smash my poppers before. They are in the same family as bass and are super agressive top water feeders! Get eem
Hey man I have to say you catch monsters. I also live in Alabama as well and never caught a fish that size out of all the ones you caught. So that how you know your doing good
NICE fish!! Since you do catch & release, do you alter your hooks in any way to keep from damaging the fish?? My Dad used to crimp the barb down some so it wouldn't tear the tissue as bad when he pulled it out. He loved to fish but would only keep what we would eat for dinner that night then throw the others back for the next time...
Pittsburgh stinks compared to those southern hogs. Man I am so jealous. You guys smash 5-10lb bass on a regular basis. A five or more up here is massive to us. Well done.
I caught a 18lb Flathead & 16lb flathead on back to back casts throwing 12"Mann's Jelly Worm fishing for Bass. That fish must've been deep for it's eyes to bulge out like that.
Hey Stephen, get yourself a Savage Gear 5.25" Prop Walker - massive blow-ups on that bait. It's a walking bait like a spook that can convert to a whopper-plopper style bait.
Why do you use the fishing rod so the reel is on the top because us brits use a rod so the reels are on the bottom not been awkward just interesting to hear your reasons
BamaBass and a 12 inch junebug worm? You know it's going to be a good video.
We played around the first afternoon then had to bring out the 🔨
Facts though
Magnum worms and junebug anything are some of my favorite warn water baits.
Nice boat flip Nate Dawg! 🤣
I grew up stream fishing trout. You make bass fishing interesting. Miss the pond though.
Pond updates coming soon. Moby is being rowdy like always!
Bring on the topwater bass fishing video!!!
Great video, as always. Loved it when the big mamma came back at the boat, all open mouthed, looking on attack mode. Lol
Thanks y’all you gave me the I thrust to catch a bass and I did I caught a 13 incher!
Congrats!
We love a good BamaBass bass fishing video! Especially with the classic 12” Junebug worm🥰
What size hook for big worms ?
Raptor shirt was a big plus for me! Fishing and rockets.
I like seeing y'all catch them giant Bluegills to be honest. I mean, I love the Bass vids too, but something about those big ol Gills...
I second that motion. Big bass are nice, but you don't often get to see monster Gills like that anywhere really. Sheriff (R.I.P) must be tellin' his cousins to bite
Pan fish are fun
Now that I’ve gotten comfortable throwing 6 inch baits I think it’s time I started throwing the 12 inch worms
I've caught 1lb bass on foot long worms. Don't be scared of it at all
I caught a 2in bass on a 7.5in trick worm
Yep. Thats really all i use. 12 inch blackberry Manns at night. The freaks come out at night.
@@patrickflug4605 you ever watch the BamaBass vid about the guy who caught hundreds of 10lb+ by only fishing black buzzbaits at night
@@EricM93 not yet but i will. Black hula popper, buzzbait, popper frogs, and black worm. All the biggest possible. Especially full moon. Big baits big fish. Thank you
Yes!!! This is one of my favorite Channels to watch!!!🔥🔥🔥How is Moby doing?
Rowdy as always!
@@BamaBass 😂 He is definitely one of a kind, that’s for sure!
It's always a real treat when there's 1 spot that is holding all the fish.
Nice 8 pound pig!
You catch more big bass than anyone I’ve ever seen! Love the vids, keep it up!
OGs will remember there use to be little to no talking at all in these fishing vids

I was wondering how to keep a tank without it turning green?
We do weekly water changes, about 25-50%, to keep the algae under control and water parameters right.
Awesome video and happy fishing Bama Bass
Great video guys!!!
Love to watch the Bass fishing. Thanks
Love the videos and the variety of content you post, keep up the great work!
Made myself an order for some of those worms and few other goodies as well!
I definitely like it when you weigh the bigger fish.
I’m sure we’ll get an update soon, but hope the spawning in the pond has went well for y’all!!!

@@BamaBass darn. Best of luck in these next few weeks then! Appreciate the great content as always, from some big fans in Ohio🤝🤝
My preferred soft plastic worm is a 4 inch senko. The bass don’t get bigger than around 5 lbs at the pond I fish
I just started watch your videos just for the beast Moby 😉
Should try and get a perch for the backyard pond
Amazing blue gill biggest I have ever seen
I'd sure love to know what kind of rod and reel you were using on them bluegill
Huge coppernose bluegill on that topwater.
Love the content I probably watched this video 5 times your my favorite UA-camr you inspired me to fish and keep up the great work
dope video brother!!
Thanks bud
This video Was fun it had multiple species in multiple different Lures y’all catching them on
Great video. Love the Game stop reference, didn't know we had a fellow ape! I just like the stonk!
You caught yourself a copperhead bluegill! Super cool fish only found in southern US
When do you break ground on the build?
Lol that big bass said to hell with your boat and head butted it haha
Beautiful copperhead solid bluegill! He would have made an amazing pond mate!
Man I have always wanted to do the stuff you do, but where I live the climate changes all the time so I can't have outdoor ponds like you
that's a friggin 🐊crocodile!! @11:40 😎
All of your videos are Epic! It just doesn't matter..

Apparently not
What rod/reel were you using for the Bluegill? Do you think that would be a good rod to use for vertical fishing crappie on brush piles?
Livesay won Bassmaster on Lake Fork , getting some big bass on the spook. Have you ever had success with it.
This aint dream strike lake, is it?
if bluegill and minnows are not out at a pond will the bass no be biting that day?
i’d love to go fishing with you one day 👊
My grandparents live very close to there they live in foley and my dad grew up there I never knew the fishing was that good over there. And roll tide!!
roll tide!
We also get crawfish from the same place as you on the causeway
For the trailer hooks, is there only one hook per pack?
what line are you using with big worms ? i've got some big worms i want to start fishing and i use straight braid most of the time but if i can catch more on other line i will try it
17 lb Stren mono
What do you use to peg/keep your trailer hooks on your main spinnerbait/buzzbait hook?
Thanks, another awesome video!

A pond update would be nice
Hello can’t wait till rank Tuesday
What kind of line were you using? Was it 20 lb. fluoro?
Is that a curado 200

Are your catfish in the pond still
Nothing boring about the big worm.
What pound test

I would like if you went to Morgan city Louisiana and fished and caught some small gators on ribbit frogs
Great video I really enjoyed it and nice catch’s I do a lot of trout and bass fishing on my channel but I am a kid 😆
More back yard pond please

Did you use to guide or still are?
Dude it’s so crazy I live so close to you it’s so cool
Good fish 👍
Great video! I wish you would’ve weighed the first big fish you caught
I love your video
I think bamabass should start entering tournaments
Since sheriff passed away you should have kept that big bluegill and put it in the back yard pond
If you have a reason for not keeping plz tell me
He had 2 chances I though so too. The first one absolutely!
Awesome video!
Good job👌
We filipino love watching everything in the internet
Those worms are the type u have to feed moby except have them be real

make your bamafrogs site able to ship to canada
you should try and fish some catfish next

I'll have to check that one out
How about more focus on your ponds! That is solely and precisely what attracted me to your channel in the first place!
A good day fishing ..
why don’t you put any perch in your pond
If bluegill got as big as bass idk if I would bass fish anymore
0:35
BamaBass about lost a BamaRod lol.
I’d be having bluegill for supper.
Caught three nice bass today before a heavy rain shower chased me off the pond
Frogs,buzzbaits,topwater!
