I saw black label all alone, years ago,, 30 years old, no fear in my heart, just power in my soul, knowing I'm on my way to the power of zakk wild and the label. If you are a real musician you tend not to sterotype music such as death metal and all of those stupid categories. When I hear good music it inspires me even though I don't care or hear what they are saying it's the song that is catchy. You can put your own words to it and make it kinda your song if you don't like the so called genre.I like songs from hank Jr , Prince,corrosion of conformity,bls,rod stewaet, and many many more. It depends on what mood I am in to what I want to hear. I'm sure people at the forefront of death metal bands have other feelings , not just death metal thoughts all day. That stereotyping is sort of like brainwashing gimmick to try to sell to the public by gimmick. Some people don't need gimmicks to sell their music because they are good without any. And some don't give a shit because they love doing what they do and don't care about the sells. Like a band named quarter monkey. They have CD called got no name. Give it a listen and let me know what you stereotype that music as.
