Would you risk committing a crime in a city where the guards are tenacious enough to chase you, on foot, all the way to another city, just for stealing a single piece of cheese?
Oh, please. He stole some cheese. Any punishment is worth le mighty cheese. The all-powerful guard died and wolves don't eat cheese, so he can even keep it!

This is the funniest Oblivion shit I’ve seen 🤣 The sped up music, the high pitched voices, the fact that you kept turning around and he was STILL giving chase half a continent later 🤣 Dude left the country on foot just to chase after a slice of cheese
I've never played Oblivion. What would happen if you eat the cheese in front of the guard? Does the crime "go away" because you're no longer in possession of the stolen property?
Next time, make every Imperial Guard follow you, speedrun to every major City and make their guards follow you too. Then run through the nearest Oblivion Gate to trap them there...

It's pretty crazy how far the guards will go in this game i remember one time where i got caught lockpicking the guards in Bruma chased me all the way to the mountains. I thought i had lost them found a bed rested, then decided okay i'll climb the mountain a bit higher and was attacked by bandits after i killed them went back to the bed to rest and was not able to due to enemies in the area. I look to my left the guards from Bruma were they're chasing me and one thing lead to another with no fighting chance i jumped from a high point of the mountain to a lower part of it and almost died on the landing (Thank you Acrobatics) and then all the guards that chased me one by one all landed dead next to me and serious these guards are to committed lol
Man seeing you dash through the countryside makes me remember playing this for the first time and being dumbstruck by how good the foliage looked. Still looks nice. That draw distance tho.
Why is it always a Khajiit? That was his cheese, he was coming to collect it later. And its damn good cheese. Its worth taking a life over 1 gold fine? Sure is!
This is canonically what kicks the beginning of Skyrim
this comment is genius
"You were caught trying to cross the border!"
Comment of the year edition!
Yep: running from the guards to Skyrim after the main quest line 201 in game years later.

Never compromise. Never blink. Never wink at injustice. Never quit trying to make this a better city for everyone!

Never compromise, even in the face of oblivion, that's always been the difference between us.
We’re always on duty

Stealing that gubermint cheese.
it was HIS cheese. Probably already had a nice wine picked out and everything :'(
The Oblivion guards love their job way too much

he's got much bigger things to worry about. namely the fact he's literally dead.

He will be made captain for this.... dedication.
more like deadication
Posthumous promotion.
dude literally got mauled to death by wolves
How did the Empire lose against the Aldmeri Dominion in the Great War with Terminator soldiers like that 😳?
The Aldmeri Dominion used cleverer tactics and never stole any cheese.
Did you watch to the end? Clearly the Dominion had WOLVES
They were using an older combat ai.

You underestimate the tenacity of the Guard if you think trapping them in Oblivion will stop them from enacting justice.

That’s Judge Dredd level of dedication.
To be fair, that adventurer betrayed the law!

The guard would've speedran LotR if given the One Ring, and if he heard that Sauron avoids paying taxes.
The guard just REALLY wanted to help you train your acrobatics skill... by force.

Glad this was recommended after 3 years, this is what youtube was made for.
As a longtime player of oblivion, seeing shit like this today just blesses my whole day 💯💯💯
Your profile pic makes it so much better
the sped up game noises vaguely resemble the main character breathing frantically as he tries to run from the guard

The music is actually very suspenseful when sped up 😂

The sped up growls and jumping sounds were a treat to my ears.

A sped up Oblivion is fundamentally hysterical!
This is why Sheogorath wants cheese so much power 🧀
