Max reminding everyone how little he knows about football. The same dude that said Jimmy G could have done what Brady did last year to get the the SB. Brady throws for 348 yds and scores 37 points on the road with far less talent on offense. Jimmy G could only get 20 points and 200yds with a stacked team in perfect weather.
You do understand when you play a team like us, we’re one of the best running teams in football, so therefore the Chiefs load the box to stop that like they did with Derrick Henry. That opens up the passing game but when you don’t have the ball a lot it’s kinda hard. The chiefs dominated Time Of Possession so 200 yards and 20 points in 20 or less minutes is really not that bad. Y’all act like the refs didn’t screw us either
Oh yeah btw we got close to 150 rush yards so it doesn’t make sense for Jimmy to throw for 350 and 4 touchdowns when you can run it that effectively
Dynasty_TV The Chiefs didn’t dominate with 40 mins. It was 33 to almost 27. And SF was ahead in time of possession after 3 quarters. But when you don’t convert on 3rd down in the 4th quarter you don’t stay on the field. That’s on Jimmy G. And your point about KC loading the box to stop the run makes it easier for Jimmy G. He had open windows because of that which is why he was so successful on play action passing. But in the 4th when he had to drop back in the pocket he couldn’t make plays. That and the 2 interceptions are why he should get a D at best
Dimitry Thomas bro first off the first INT was when he got hit trying to throw it out of bounds and the second one he had to heave it deep late in the game. Also I think you’re forgetting he was getting killed in that fourth quarter by the blitzes so it’s not easy to just fling the ball with complete accuracy into a receivers arms when you have 4 people freely coming at you

It DOESN'T matter very much how well you play early. In a season, you don't have to be very good; you just have to be good ENOUGH to make the playoffs. In a game, you don't have to play very well for 3 quarters; you just have to play well enough to position yourself to finish victoriously in the 4th.
It DOES matter 100% how you finish! If you can't finish well enough, you're not good at sports. Stats can lie. 17-for-20 in 3 quarters lied about Garapolo last night; he's not very good. That below 70 qbr through 3 quarters lied about Mahomes last night; he IS very good. MJ used to go 6-for-21 shooting through 3 quarters at times. The difference is how you finish.

Other than that Brady has helped Belichick out in games where the defense does have a slow start or when the lead needs to be taken late. Mahomes had a rough first half, yes but despite being down double digits he made pass after pass after pass, he was breaking tackles left and right and still getting a pass off!
Williams sealed the game, also yes but w/o Mahomes and the amazing coaching of Andy Ried, that comeback wouldn't happen at all.
Every player was vital to that comeback but Mahomes/Andy Ried were the biggest reasons.
No one carried anybody, just an overall great effort from the chiefs.
Apart from the 38 yard TD run with just over a minute to go in the game where all they needed was a first down to end the game he ran for 66 yards in 16 attempts which isn't bad but come on it was Mahomes that drove them down the field and scored the 14 points that gave them the lead and the win.

That’s right. Jimmy G is a supped up version of Mark Sanchez plain and simple. And we all know how Mark Sanchez’s career ended up. Nuff said 👍
I’m fine with criticism, but a essentially first year lead quarterback did pretty well. It’s not likely for team with this many rookies to win a Super Bowl until they get experienced, and they lead the chiefs for most of the game, maybe even dominated them slowly over time. Second, very few had nice things to say about jimmy going into this game, and looking at the completions, he still out performed Patrick Mahomes more than expected, and over all more over the course of the game. Third, there is no doubt Kansas cities receiving core is better (and more expensive.) 4th, nobody talks about the uncalled penalties that were frequent throughout the game. (A helmet to helmet against garappolo,) so if your going to talk bad NFL experts, make sure you talk about everything, not just the points that you find important. Lastly, Kyle Shanahan helped prevent many of Mahomes bombs, who payed scared until the ending of the game, where he did a 40 yard pass AFTER his lineman held noticeably to prevent being blocked or sacked. How does Kansas city get so few penalities being considered (by you guys in some videos) to be the most inconsistent and prone to penalty team in the NFL. So yea Jimmy had some bad plays, but before you throw out the credit of a whole team, why don’t you actually look at the game, and tell the story how it ACTUALLY folded. That doesn’t mean Kansas City wouldn’t have won and Jimmy Garoppolo would have flopped on plays, but can we also hold the ref core accountable for there mistakes, like the game changing touchdown where the chiefs foot was out. I have the photo of it in high definitionshowing his foot clearly out before the ball crossed the line. So yea guys, you’ve got some valid points, but your also ignoring much of the game.

@Carlos Barillas You can't be amazing from the sideline, even if you came from New England you have to be in the game to grow as a player. With time Jimmy G can grow as a good quarterback, John Lynch and Kyle need to continue to surround Jimmy G with weapons he can throw the ball too. They do need more speed at the wide receiver position, hopefully they keep Kendrick Bourne he is good receiver plus he knows Kyle Shanahan system.
In this league, there are a handful of QBs who consistently demonstrate greatness, you highlight their skills and use them to win the game. They're the guys you want the ball in their hands when the game is on the line. Then there's guys who won't lose the game, they can do an adequate job and as long as they don't turn the ball over and the rest of the teaming is firing on all cylinders you'll be a winner. What category is Jimmy in? You can see it when the head coach only schemes him 8 pass attempts in the NFC championship game. When all your fans and media are questioning why your team didn't run more. When Brady, Wilson, Mahomes, Rodgers are playing from behind, how many of the fans are asking for more handoffs to the running back?

Outplayed the Chiefs yet only scored 20 points as opposed to the Chiefs 31 points. Football is not won based of stats. Teams that lose in the Superbowl never really tend to recover and then just slowly disapper like the Rams, Falcons and Panthers. I just don't see the 9ers recovering

@@_Boobear_ alot of qbs look worse when under major pressure. Just look at mahomes in this game he was under duress and didnt look anywhere close to what were acustomed to. Yea he won the game i get that but he needed help in order to get that many chances that late like the 49ers abandoning the run game when averaging 6-7 yards a carry through the game. They could have took alot more time off the clock than they did for sure not giving the cheifs enough time to come back. Lets be real here mahomes missed alot of throws too and wasnt exaxtly lighting it up compared to his usual stuff. Just because he won and jimmy lost ppl wanna act like mahomes is the greatest and jimmy is backup i seen every 9er game this year the dude has made alot of big time throws and helped them win lots of games. He played below what hes been playing for the most part in this game he seemed just a little off almost like he was rusty. Maybe throwing it so little all postseason did have a negative effect in that regaurd but nobody is saying nothing about that so many people love to hate on Jimmy and couldn't wait for him to lose one or miss a throw so they can feel validated in that bs. He has made alot of nice throws into tight windows all season he just looked a tad off in this one but still didnt play bad overall people are being way too hard on em. Yea he missed Sanders late but mahomes missed alot of throws too....and look at the throw he made to kittle just before halftime that was negated by what i felt was a bs ticky tack call ecspecially being the superbowl and how much bs they were letting the cheifs get by with (namely holding by their o line ecspecially on the 3rd and 15 play that swung the games momentum to the cheifs. Haters gonna hate though.

The cheifs degense stepped up and made plays too...we should have been running the ball up 10 and bleeding the clock their offense was getting into a little rythem and time was on our side we didnt manage it. He throwed 31 passes total not 20. Aikman even went as far as to say jimmy was on fire in the 3rd quarter. Yall act like he played a terrible game because he didnt hit sanders late. He missed a throw it happens. With the way the game was going it shouldn't have been on Jimmy to win it we had a 2 score lead with what 8-9 min left and was running the ball great. No reason to start getting cute trying to pass when that isnt what we needed in that situation. He didnt play as well as he has for the most part but he certainly wasnt bad and I don't see it as his fault we lost.

If Kirk Cousins was the QB for San Francisco the way Kyle Shanahan wanted they would of won that superbowl. Kirk would of made that throw to win the game. Jimmy is the weak spot on that team. The rest of the team makes him look great.
Stephen A: leave jimmy alone man. You’re forgetting there was a point in that game where he was 18/21. Leave him alone. Jimmy G was fine. In the 4th quarter, guys were tipping passes. The only play in the 4th quarter that was on him, was his miss to Emmanuel Sanders. That’s it.

I'm a 49er fan and I think Bart is spot on here. As soon as we got behind me and other Niner fans in the party immediately said to each other, "I don't trust Jimmy to bring us back if the D KNOWs he has to pass." We kill 'em with those play action passes because they are nervous about our running game so those linebackers are always creeping up. But, when they know we have to pass they creep back into Jimmy's favorite zone (the middle to the TE) and he struggles with going through the progressions or being able to be mobile (Like Mahomes) and wait for receivers to uncover or get open.
Thing is he didnt have to be mobile or wait for people to uncover he just had to go through his reads. Baldinger break down of Jimmy showed several times he threw to a covered guy and it wasnt rushed. Brady hardly ever predetermins who gets the ball before the snap, he reads through his progressions.
# 1 I don’t disagree with you. This is the same problem I had with Kap......going through his progressions. But, I’m looking beyond this SB loss. Look how often Mahomes was able to pick up first downs on 3rd and 3 by offsetting rushes and buying time for receivers to break coverage throughout the season. That’s an element a one read QB (like Jackson) needs when their first and only read is covered.
