What I find amazing is that all these stats and data no one cared about. This was not a priority for Dj's in my era 70's, 80's, etc... We played the hits we knew people would dance to and then integrated songs with a good beat(speaking hip hop), Something FRESH as we would say and people would just go off. Then if you had a gig out of town all you did was hit the record store in that town and ask for the hits.. Easy Peezy Limon Squeeze. That's the genius of Open Format, you don't limit yourself to a playlist, because depending on the venue, type of party, and the crowd that could change instantly.

Good question! Generally, in pop music programming, anything this year is considered a current. Last year, a recurrent (loose example). Anything past that is considered a gold. Going back decades simply means that more gold awaits! For varieties sake, keep the decades apart. A good example would be to listen to how Jack FM programs their playlist. - Aaron

For some reason I am having a problem with downloading the banger button. I get a pop-up after downloading stating "Windows is searching for Banger button.exe. To locate the file yourself, click browse."
