feet, hips, knees, jaws, shoulders, spine all are affected by each other through posture. chin up chest out elbows in hip tilt in squats, etc. Not clenching my jaw when working out is hard for me
Precisely. Every one of those is a cog in the machine. Disrupt one and it will have a immense affect on otheres.
nutrition! read nutrition and physical degeneration by weston a. price. He shows different tribal people with neglible amounts of malloclusion or cavities, then their family members who eat different amounts of modern food and become mouth breathers, narrow hips mental problems etc. from the 1930s
Film yourself. You be amazed in scenarios you keep mouth open. Areas of concentration (multitasking) and walking are two areas people leave mouth open. I film myself practicing darts and noted my mouth open. I practice darts everyday. Film yourself doing a daily routine.
Thank you!
could you make a video about your opinion of the myobrace?
All bones and muscles grow in response to stress. Bones just stop growing when the growth plates fuse shut, and our jaws today are in a completely different environment from the circumstances in which they evolved in.
@@nevin8604 They are when you're trying to grow bones and they're fused shut.
@@iseeyou1312 bones grow in response to stress independent of the growth plate, that's why taking gh or going to the gym as adult gives you thicker bones.
Growth plate is for height and length of the bone mainly for height of an individual.
The skull is connected by sutures and so can be modified at any age and is also independent of growth plates.
@@nevin8604 Not talking about bone density.
The maxilla, and other skull bones, are very slightly more flexible than a normal bone, in that something like MARPE can get you ~1-2mm of expansion in a young adult, but at ~30+ it gives ~0mm.
And if something like MARPE is giving you none or virtually no expansion, what do you think your tongue is doing?
Like, if mewing actually did something in adults, there are heaps of orthodontic/orthotropic tools that are mewing on steriods, so why not just use them?
Oh, because they don't do anything and you can get sued by your clients.
I realized that facial development is similar to foot development. Almost all modern feet are shaped incorrectly because of shoes. It reminds me of what mewing tries to prove about bone structure
Neal Hallinan has some good videos on holistic postural restoration and he talks about how the jaw can impact the spine. 😀
Anyone have any thought on Vivos DNA Appliance vs MSE?
Laura on the channel!
Please reply doctor
Just 19 year old suffering from tmj (ringing ear, clogged ear ,jaw pain, neck pain, difficulty opening mouth)might due to four premolars extraction for braces
Is reopening gap and implant best or there are any other best options
If you have done extractions, the only way to cure all your problems js expanding your both upper and lower jaw(maxilla and mandible)
Would mewing still work for someone with a missing tooth? I'm missing one tooth at the bottom which causes a slight overbite.
I have recently started chewing gum to hopefully increase muscle mass/tone in my jaw area but have heard of some people developing tmj because of this. I have been chewing regular sugar free gum for 1-2 hours for the past 3 days. How long should I be chewing for to avoid tmj? And is there anything else I should know?
Hard foods might be a better option than gum. Perhaps the chewing pattern and duration is more natural than gum. It could also be that TMJD doesn’t develop unless you already have some issues, but idk anything for sure. I suppose your best course of action is to read about this from multiple sources: studies, case reports, and expert testimony.
If you are under 25 year old, start with a very little hard food and then gradually increase its toughness over time. You will notice that your bone started to adjust with your muscles.
Tip- Try to chew food at the very back of molars for maximum forward growth
While mewing with overbite, I am only supposed to have my front teeth slightly touching right? But doing ds doesn't allow my molars to be together. Is it alright? Please guide me i have overbite, but i want to mew.
Go from the back and then forward and try to push symmetrically. If you have an asymmetrical face and mew without that in mind you could get tinnitus.
@@hjorth3387 right, I thought that i hv to maintain symmetry. Still my molars will not meet right?
@@samratashish9979 You should try to maintain a closed bite. The molars or premolars should meet at the least.
This means you have severe overbite. Firstly you have to fix your overbite and teeth alignment then start mewing😊
@@shieldwonders4501 wait, what? I thought mewing is done to fix overvite? What do u mean?
I wouldn't say just the jaws. Feet are somewhat alike in that regard.
Does Accutane stop jaw from fully forming?
Hi Mike, I am a 15yr old male and I’ve been mewing for some time now. Can I also chew for 1 hour a day ?
Be careful when chewing excessively, this can put strain on individual teeth. eventually after a while of this your teeth can loosen and even fall out in some extreme cases of excessively chewing for extended periods of time (I’m talking years here, but you are young and the sooner you know this the better)
I have been mewing for three years but beacause of that the tongue got bigger under the jaw and it gives the impression of double chin can anyone give their insight?
you probably werent using the back third correctly which caused the thing under the jaw to get tight in the wrong spot.
Assymetrical mewing
Does this mean that crocodiles in the zoos should have malocclusion?
no, because crocs in the zoo aren't eating burgers and milkshakes. Zoos keep animals in or as close to their natural environment as possible (including the food they eat)

Where is Pokemon? Where is Mew? Where is mewtwo? Where is mewthree? Where is mewfour?
Assymetrical mewing
