For the barcode not being scannable. I had this incident for one of my product. The inspection company was not able to scan the barcode and when I asked the supplier, they said this is normal since the inspection company does not have access to Amazon's systems. I believed them and in the end, they were right. When the shipment got to Amazon's warehouse, there were scannable. So not sure what your case was, but from my own experience, it is ok for the barcode not being scannable during the inspection phase.
Question for the barcode, I am currently listing my product but i am at a standstill. I bout 2 upc barcodes and i cannot use them, as the name i used, Amazon is asking for brand variation. If u do not have a brand, what name do you use in the Brand Name section on GS1 to purchase ur barcode? Do u use ur initially that's on seller central? I do not have a brand currently, i intend to sell as Generic.
Would love if u could do a video on products to avoid, currently trying with skincare products would amazon have issues with that like with listing them

If I ungated a brand, am I required to purchase the product from the manufacturer or distributor later or can I purchase it from a wholesale market and sell it to that brand? Will Amazon require me to invoice again?
@@CamronJames I had Amazon straight up take 1,500 $ out of my bank account without my permission because I was drinking a bit and just hit "apply recommendation" on the advertising budget screen and it turned out to be recommending a budget of like 13 thousand dollars a day. Luckily it only spent what it did that weekend. I have to tell you the worst surprise ever to wake up to on Monday. No matter what i said to customer service they weren't giving me back a dime. The shit was so foul. It low-key made me lose all motivation to sell on Amazon. I actually moved focus to selling in person. I legit think my product had a real chance at blowing up on Amazon too. At least in it's category. Mostly because it straight up did what it claims to do and it stands out so much compaired to anyone elses. Im still going to sell on amazon because they have just over 250 units, which comes out to just over 6,250, but its just hard to put forth my energy into something im not even getting paid for because i'm still in the negative. it's different when you get a check every other week but damn i owe them. i should have had my in-person game on point anyway before trying to do Amazon but at least I'm already ready to go when i get the funds to really push it
Did you have a massive amount of capital in the beginning so that when your failed products happened you were able to continue? With a $15,000 in the hole start you wonder how some keep going.
