Love this mount. It is really sturdy. I am a beginner (3 months) and it took me 3 attempt’s for success. But it was worth it to perfect this technique. I like to use CZs and this method will be very useful.
New to your channel love this thank you I'm just starting out well about 2 years ago then put all of my materials away in the closet , now I've got that drive back after seeing you thank you !! 💜
Could you help ma make a setting for 2 stones and a charm? I am a total beginner but ant to wrap some stones that my mother gave me. It might make a nice tutorial for you? Thanks! Sandy
I'm so excited I've never seen alot of this before and I live tqht you include things that no one else has done and how you fix mistakes also for us. My question is can you show us how would you buff the prongs so there not Sharp? I know you said you would cut at an angel which is a tip I never heard but Makes so much sense and how would I just buff this with out hurting the stone can you show lil tricks like this? You show more details than anyone and it does help thank you..
Thanks so much! Good to know! ☺️ So far I’ve just used my polishing kit to buff the prongs. I try to stay away from the stone if possible. I’ll try to see if I can make a video on that in the future.
Love it! Great detail and instructions! That Pin Vise is an awesome tool for wire twisting. Thanks again for another great video, can't wait to see the next one!
Can I use the handle from an Exacto knife blade?? It looks the same as a pen vise.. Also nice instructional vid! Your stone is nice and the setting is beautiful.. Can it be used for prong setting a cab?
2nd time watching and I'm blown away for a 2nd time!!!😲🙆❤. Thanks so much. P.S. I have the box of copper washers as do you and I think you read minds because I needed ideas on what to use them for beside what I've done. Thanks your awesome, love your fur baby what's his or her name.
Thank you for the tutorial. Sometimes you move your hands and piece out of view. I suggest marking your " in focus or on camera " area on your workstation so that you can keep your workpiece on the screen all of the time.
Wire wrapping expensive faceted stones is not a good idea, especially trying to set them with wires the way it looks in a solid metal ring. It has a HIGH chance of getting caught on something and pulled right out and onto the ground without you even realizing it in time, let alone the possible damage it could endure hitting the ground and rolling across.
Here's a video I made where I create a frame for this stone!

Thank you! I didn't think I could do what my customer wanted but I'm glad I said yes anyway! You've made it possible 🙌 ❤
Awesome!! ☺️💜
Very instructive video! Getting those prongs just right is truly delicate surgery!
Yes! ☺️💜
Making the "base" for the loose stone is what I've been missing. Thank you ❤
Love your work snd your pup 🌹
Thank you! ☺️💜
Too nice for a copper washer. ❤️
Thank you SO MUCH for this tutorial!!!!! I appreciate you so much!
Aww Thanks! You’re welcome! ☺️💜
Thank you. I always worry about using such a light gauge as the prongs. I keep feeling like it just won't hold the stone long term.
This is a lovey design.
Thanks! 💜☺️

You can certainly give it a try!
I’m sure you can modify this tech for a cabochon as well ☺️
Simply exquisite. How could your set stone be attached to a ring?
Actually,
Monday I have a video coming out on how I make a print ring! 👍🏻
Awesome!!!
Loooove it! Thank you.
Hi Zurick what is the name of the tool you use to twisted the wire?

Her name is Gerty!
Can you use round wire?
Round wire is hard to “lock together”
It might give you trouble and make you frustrated.
@@ZurickDesigns thanks for you reply. I live in a remote town is Australia. I'll have to look online and order some. Thanks again 😀
@@Turtledove72 thanks for watching from Australia!
I have to purchase all my square wire online as well.
What is that tool to twist the wire? 😲
It’s called a pin vise.
What is that twisty tool called?
