Great video, please keep them coming. I’ve been thinking about relocating to the US from UK for some time now and your videos have been soo helpful. Could you do a pros and cons video of living in the US compared to the UK please?? Big up yourself 🙌🏾🙏🏾
I’m so glad and amazed that there are Brits moving to the states. I’ve been wanting to do this since I finished uni (like 7yrs ago! Lol) but always worried about the safety & healthcare issues in the states. Always good to hear from Brits who have crossed the pond! Thanks for sharing!
Your so inspiring I’m a single parent considering moving to the USA with my 17 year old son and 7 year old daughter. These tips are sooo helpful icl thanks sis ❤️👑
Hi! So it depends on the visa that you are going for as that determines what the step by step process looks like. For me, my company advised me on the steps from an L1B perspective, and I also did a bunch of Google searches on what it would look to (from an L1-B perspective) and came across a few immigration law firms that provided an overview. This might help www.immigrationhelp.org/learning-center/the-ultimate-guide-to-the-united-states-immigration-process
You’re welcome! So I think you would have to update the student loans company on your relocation and job details and work out how to pay it back from abroad. I mean there are pros and cons generally, and the working culture is something that will have to weighed up. For me the working culture doesn’t outweigh the other pros that I have and am experiencing with my move. It’s not for everyone- I guess it just depends on what’s important to you and what you’re looking for in a move. If you’re motivation to move here is for a good working life balance then this will not be it lol
@@Alexandrasblog_ I want to consider moving to another country from the Netherlands for my career and the challenge of moving to another country. I'm looking into different countries atm with a strong job market in the field interested in. I think us is a good opportunity short term. I love my vacation days so Im not sure I want to miss out on that for a long period.
@@Malligue yeah and that’s something to weigh up. My company actually offers unlimited vacation so I do take a good amount of vacation but I know that’s not the case for the majority of US firms. There is a lot to consider in with moving here, from the different culture, to paying healthcare to working long hours.
Nice video again - do you think it’s possible to obtain a SSN, setting up a bank and getting a PAYG sim within 2 weeks of being in US with visa in hand?
I think the bank account and PAYG for sure - but the SSN depends on how quickly the SS office can process your application. I think I had my SSN card come through around 3.5 weeks after arriving
Thank you so much for all your helpful advice i am from the UK hoping to move to the US very soon with my daughter. Thank you sis God bless you❤

Considering the working culture in usa, do you think it's worth it to live in that country? Thanks for the info
