I just got into Undertale last summer and just finish my first play through a couple weeks ago. And the whole reason I played Undertale was because a friend had showed me a remix of spider dance. Eventually several months after hearing the remix I came back to the song and was curious to hear the original, and ended up not getting sleep that night because the song was so stuck in my head.. so I eventually decided to listen to the song in the dark alone at midnight with AirPods in. And that was the night that changed my life as soon as I turned on my device I saw the song title: Death by glamour, and I thought lol that’s a funny name, I wonder what it sounds like. I unintentionally found the best song ever. It’s literally everything I’ve ever wanted in a song. Long story short Mettaton became my most favorite character of all time, and he single handedly convinced me to play the game itself. Like I said before several months have past, and well not a day goes by that I don’t listen to this song… I find myself with an odd nostalgia when I listen to slowed versions of the song. Even though I always listen to the original. Idk 2023 was just one of my favorite years since 2016. Sry this comment got a little long. If anyone’s wondering I played the game for the first time on neutral route.
