- I show you how to fix any Hisense TV remote in one minute. If the power button is not working or other buttons or the buttons are ghosting by itself make sure to watch this video closely before buying a new remote. Im using a Hisense Smart TV (Roku TV) but again this method will work on any Hisense remote. This should work for at leaset 60% of you. Good Luck!

My remote would not turn the tv on and when I manually turned the tv on the remote worked but the cursor went all the way to the left. After I tried this method, it took a minute to kick in. I turned the tv on manually and the cursor went to the left again. But all of a sudden it started working normally again. So, as the video says, I imagine if it happens again I will try it a few times. But I am very pleased it works!

America, let me just say this video really really works. Last night i was playing my PS4 "Watch Dogs Legion" to be exact. My remote slipped off my bed & fell into a bucket of water next to my bed. When i realized my remote fell in the bucket i immediately dried it off.....like the video instructed to remove the batteries and keep pushing all the buttons then plug the batteries back in....after about 6 times of doing the same thing my remote started working again & it was like it never fell.....thanks to this video not only it saved me about 12 bucks for a replacement but it saved me a trip to Target. My son is 1 and brought the remote to me partially soaked. I immediately grabbed my canned air and blew what I could out and the remote ceased functioning. Of course my go to was UA-cam and I had the Walmart app on standby 😅. Thank you again for this video. I did have to repeat the routine a few times and what seemed to speed up the process was I left one battery in while doing your steps while the tv was on.
It works thanks, I also unplugged tv for 30 second and then plugged it back in. Unplugging tv by itself did not help.

I have a " Hisense tv 40eu300. While I am watching it. The SOUND will go to MUTE for no reason. Then I have to turn the TV off and then back on to get the SOUND back. Can you help me with this problem? Awesome video thanks for sharing it.

I got my remote to work partly. I was sitting here watching TV and it just just going crazy changing channels. I couldn`t even get it to turn off. Now I can get it to turn on, and off, but in the menu area I can`t get screen to come to a full screen from the live TV part in the menu.

The remote will turn tv on an change it but the volume want work we put it in rice an letnit sit for a bit. I just tried this an it went from mute to 0 to 1 but thats it so gonna retry it again. Anything else k can do or is there buttons on thr tv that make the volume work?
Pop it open and clean it with a paper towel mine was not working at all I could see the infrared light (with my phone camera) so I popped it open and cleaned it with a paper towel
It worked kinda but my left scroll button still doesn't work

My remote broke on a rainy day, I suppose the moisture got inside. This method didn’t work with my case so I removed the front case and the buttons and then wiped down the button conducter thingies with a paper towel. This worked perfectly, I hope it will for you guys too if this video doesn’t 🙂

Oh my goodness, this was too funny. The guy couldn’t even get the batteries out of the remote and now he’s asking us to trust his smack it, slap it, rub it down method. I suggest taking a hammer and beat the crap out it, then after feeling better, order a new one.

Ppl another way if all fails that what he showed you take the remote apart. Clean by just wiping it down. Then their is a plastic piece inside that is clear and flimsy with gray dots. Where the gray dots are that is what touches the circuit board when pressing the buttons color them in with a # 2 pencil on the bottom of it where it will make contact. Put it back together and boom it works like a charm..
This was awesome, every button on our remote turned off the TV and did nothing else! Just in case we get caught up in remote issues in the future I bought a new remote for back-up on Amazon Prime but at least we didn't have one tv down for the next 3 days waiting for the new remote ..90% of the time these self help videos do not work but this worked on the first try. My remote power button won’t turn the tv on but any other button does. But then any button immediately turns it back off
My controller is doing the same thing; every button is the power button! I tried this recommendation but only got 2 buttons to work. Hopefully I’ll be able to undo what my 1 year old did

It didn't work for me. It did loosen the buttons tho lol like they felt glued like from all the time used. I did had to open the control after several attempts, so I just cleaned the whole control with a detail brush, used a q tip with isopropyl alcohol to gently remove any contaminants/dust/dirt, and just let it air dry for like 3-5 min. Works, and feels like the first time I bought the TV 💪🔥
