Last night in the Indonesian Liga 1 football match between Arema and Persebaya at Kanjuruhan Stadium in Malang a tragedy occured. It is heartbraking.

Kita tidak bisa menyalahkan 1 pihak saja.
Baik supporter dan kepolisian melakukan kesalahan fatal.
Tapi penyebab awal tragedi ini karena supporter arema yang tidak terima kekalahan tim nya dan melakukan aksi yang melanggar aturan ( masuk ke area lapangan bola ).
Polisi panik karena seluruh stadion isinya pendukung arema semua, tidak ada pendukung surabaya di stadion. Mungkin karena melihat jumlah mereka yang sangat banyak, polisi panik dan menembakan gas air mata untuk membubarkan mereka.
Penonton yang berdiam diri panik dan langsung menuju pintu keluar tetapi menurut berita pintu nya terkunci.
Ada yang salah dengan supporter arema, mereka menciptakan masalah untuk mereka sendiri, jika mereka menerima kekalahan dan tidak rusuh, semua ini tidak akan terjadi.
Pemain surabaya datang dan pergi menggunakan kendaraan polisi saja sudah menunjukan bahwa tidak ada keamanan di sana, disaat pemain surabaya pulang mereka dilempari batu.
Kendaraan polisi rusak parah, pemain dilempar batu, polisi tewas, supporter tewas.
MAU BUKTI APALAGI ?
benar baik dari supporter dan polisi salah, TETAPI AKAR PERMASALAHAN INI SANGAT JELAS DARI SUPPORTER ITU SENDIRI. mereka terlalu egois.
Akibat suporter yang memulai keributan, suporter yang tidak ikut ribut, berdiam diri di bangku penonton dan tertib, mereka terkena dampaknya.
Mereka pantas mendapat sanksi berat karena akibat ulah mereka juga, dunia sepak bola indonesia terancam terkena sanksi lebih berat, bukan untuk arema saja tapi seluruh sepak bola indonesia akan terkena dampak.

That’s horrible on so many levels. I can’t imagine a fun event led to this terrible outcome. The teargas was probably not the best option.
The police should form lines to push back the fans without overreacting. The teargas killed them along with the over crowded areas.

Don't blame the officers, if the officers don't act like that, the Persebaya football players will probably be beaten and the Persiba fans will be victims too. Arema fans are crazy when arema lose then they will destroy property beat up other fans

Its not suporter vs suporter, its arema suporter vs police tear gas, they died in panic trying to get out the stadion, the died at the gate that still locked, cannot breath, and tear gas. Many teenager, young fan died this tragedy.

Sebenarnya ini terjadi karena kesalahan pahaman. Pertandingan berjalan lancar dan sangat sportif. Namun ketika Arema FC kalah 2-3 dari Persebaya, Aremania ingin mengekspresikannya. 3 orang suporter masuk ke lapangan untuk merangkul tim Arema FC. Lalu beberapa orang mulai masuk.
Hingga puluhan orang masuk ke arena lapangan. Polisi dan militer menganggap mereka akan bertindak anarkis, akhirnya terjadi bentrokan itu..
Banyak yang tak tahu menahu di atas stadion terkena tembakan bom gas air mata. Mereka sesak nafas dan ingin keluar. Namun pintu terkunci.
Akhirnya 180 orang meninggal dunia

You're right police (and army) react to much. Police launched tear gas to the tribune when woman and kids was there. Sadly 32 kids and kindegarten killed, suffered of less oxygent. The stupidity from officer to locked mostly exit door from outside made the situation became worst.
My question is why the police used tear gas in football match it's banned by FIFA regulations right?

Misunderstanding between fans and police, fans took to the stadium to support players because of the defeat between Arema vs Persebaya, fyi arema vs persebaya like El clasico between Real madrid and Barcelona. But in a repressive response from the police, even the police fired tear gas at the spectator stands, which resulted in panic.

The tragedy at the Kanjuruhan stadium was purely a massacre because apart from being shot by gas, tears, the exit of the stadium was locked, so they fought for it to be stepped out and shortness of breath due to tears , while FIFA regulations prohibit Police from using firearms or tear Gas Cannon ,imagine on the stands of the stadium with children, babies, pregnant women, they are trapped in the depths of poisonous smoke

We have AFL football in Australia which is just as popular but is completely non-violent, and children are welcome! We have Soccer/football radical elements, but it's usually one or two leaders who cause trouble and they are soon banned! Soccer doesn't have the funding it should here because of the mob mentality! It is a passionate sport and very European, but one minor club team had a stand full of boys collapse because of neglect! If the fans respected the umpires, rules, procedures and boundaries the game would receive more funding and thrive here! 🤨😊
