Agreed, this was my first session ever running CW and had my brother in law in the car so didn’t want to push it. Just in track/sport 2 so the stability and traction control restricting a lot of power out of the turns. After 3 days running CCW it took quite a few sessions to get use to the lines running CW. I have still yet to crack the 1.41 running CCW. 1.38 is a stock 1LE is seriously quick, he must be a great driver.
David Armstrong couldn’t agreed more, 4 out of the last 5 track days the temperature has been over 90 degrees. No issues with oil, transmission or coolant temps. I did notice a big difference when I installed the stainless steel brake lines in regards to the feeling in the brake pedal later on in the hot sessions.
I wonder where everybody went, seemed like we were the only two out there for awhile. You were hard to shake but I was only driving 1:44's that day, but you could keep up. I don't push club events hard, guys like that Audi running off road then back on in front of you are hard to manage in the 1:30's
RacerXmedia I could tell you were taking it easy but it was fun trying to keep pace for a few laps! No idea what the guy in the R8 was doing, he just said afterwards that he wasn’t thinking and just went straight. I like running with this group in the summer time because it’s usually a smaller turn out and less traffic to deal with on the track.
that was a lot of laps, looked good!!!
The Audi did ignore a few warnings and his lines were seriously off. Bad tires might have helped too) maybe
Camaro has so much more capability. Think Doug, another member, has had his down in 38’s. Had my regular ZL1 down in 42’s running CCW.

GM has built an incredible track toy. I am impressed with number of people tracking their ZL1 1LE’s and having zero issues. Zero.

Check out “Turn in track out” UA-cam channel. Lots of good Camaro videos.

Anytime you’re out there drop by the GarageMahal suite 103 trackside. Always appreciate meeting other drivers.
that r8 wasn’t able to handle the pressure 😬
The Audi!! Lmao
Turn the nannies off and smooth out the throttle…you’ll be much faster
Hi, what's your data acquisition? Pretty good!!
That's the OEM Chevy output. I know it comes in the ZL1 and Z06, not sure all else.
Holy lol
