  • Nearly a decade ago, the U.S. Army retired its last helicopter designed specifically for the attack reconnaissance mission - the OH-58 Kiowa Warrior. Since then, a combination of AH-64 Apache helicopters and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) have filled in, performing the attack reconnaissance mission the best they could.

    The army's mission, unlike the marine corps, doesn't have any place or need for a VTOL aircraft. I still think someone got paid under the table.

    The UH-60 Blackhawk is a beautiful helicopter, I want it to remain operational for many more decades and never need to be replaced from the useless raider x.

      It is replacing half of the Apaches the Valor is replacing the Black hawk.
