When falcon crest writers foolishly killed off ana alicia character, melissa agretti, that was the end of the show because the rivalry between melissa and angela was just heating up. I would have loved to see angela steal falcon crest back, and kick melissa out the house.

And if I remember correct, Angela made Emma the heir of Falcon Crest... Lack of judgement... Emma who was so easy to influence...

Aside from the not so good writing, the departure of most of the cast, something went deeply wrong with the show's directing in the doomed season 9. I can't decide clearly, but darkness increased, some strange lens were used, and the taste became a little creepy !

Ahmedabdelreheem There was also that opening sequence that was totally different from the from the last 8 seasons.
