Yikes -- nobody should feel a single bit bad for you, Trav. You were lied to and the hockey wasn't what you expected?! You're 27 years old. Did you not do your due diligence and talk to the coach and anyone from the team's management about the locker room situation, living situation, compensation, the gear the team provides, the level of hockey, your teammates??? You act like you were blind sided but this is all stuff that could of been sorted out and communicated BEFORE you flew across the country. From a viewer perspective, sounds like you just signed in Spain because you wanted to milk us for content without doing any of your own research about the league and team - you signed the first thing that came to your email. Now, you are going to run with this storyline of how unfair this is and how you deserve better because you are a "pro". It's getting old and played out
Agreed - I don't see how this is anything but a failure on Trav's part. Plenty of people told him this wasn't a pro league and he'd never even heard of the league before. Previous season player stats and videos are easily available on line and Trav has had months to look at them. The rink has a max capacity of 700 people and the team has 14 home games FFS, how does he think a pro team can make enough to pay players there? He's not a 19 year old kid getting duped here and pretty much the same thing happened to him his first year in Sweden, so he's had direct experience of it.
@@youngsyr Yup, totally agree with ya. And looking through the comments on the video, he is commenting "I can't fake playing with 18 year old kids in a setup that is less than mens league ". Dude, you're telling me he signed a contract and moved across the country... but didn't even look at the roster for the team he is playing for? Not hard to look at birthdates or look up names on Eliteprospects if he is so bothered by playing with "kids". And like you mention, you can just Google/search UA-cam the name of the league or any of the teams and there are live stream videos and highlights to see the level of play and players. I seriously think he just blindly signed a "contract" because he thought it would be cool to make content in Spain and lean more into his travel/lifestyle content without even doing any research. Just dumb and irresponsible tbh and that's on him - his "agent" just wanted money lol.
@@BlairthePreacher ah, didn't know he was 28. But I guess that plays more into my point that he's a grown adult and not some 18 year old naive kid that just wants the chance to chase the dream and play "pro". The fact that he seems totally blindsided by the situation he put himself in is just irresponsible on his end. To not know the level of hockey, whether or not the team provides gear, no locker room, the team is "a bunch of 18 year old kids" is all stuff that should have been discussed and researched in the recruitment process / before he signed the contract. Did he just expect to just show up and they'd lay out a red carpet for him? A few quick searches on UA-cam and you can find full games of the league and see the level of play and the rinks he'd be playing in. Also, Eliteprospects is a thing... he could have looked up any player in the league and stats. Just seems lazy on his part and he will continue his narrative of how he deserves SO much better and it's never his fault
This was his only Pro on paper league he could get into, Pro hockey in Spain? Yeah right, when did Spain become a power house hockey country, he saw Pro on their website and pushed the lame narrative on YT so he could get off the train videos, it’s finally over but maybe he can start a bench press channel and become a Pro power lifter that can’t lift heavy weight but will brag that he can, so so lame
Trav, I’ve been a loyal follower for quite some time. I just started the stream on Fedhielo TV and you were definitely NOT in net…unless you switched to playing right-handed. I checked the roster for the team and their 2 listed keepers are 17 year old kids. I think your fans need to know what’s going on. It’s SPAIN, bro. A lot of us genuinely want you succeed. But if hockey in Spain is a bust, it’s time for a heart to heart. Please tell us you didn’t go to the other side of the globe to NOT play. This isn’t hating on you. I’ll always be a fan. Give us something here.
There are rumours that Trav is already back in Canada. If so, then it looks like Spain is done - don't forget the team that Trav supposedly signed for was by far the worst team in that league, so it's not like he can drop down a bit and find another team.

@@BlairthePreacher Time has run out then - 29 at the end of this season without a full season under his belt for over 5 years? He's done at even semi-pro level. He needs to get playing games yesterday.
Yep and even worse, the reason he's not playing there is because he thinks he's too good to play for a team that doesn't have tracksuits and its own locker room. If that were true, Trav would have signed for a better team months ago.

Now Trav strings us along for another season with click bait titles and hints about signing for a team, only for it to never happen. Then repeat this summer, next summer. It's all about the UA-cam views from here on in.
Why ? Why self sabotage yourself ? It’s like you are looking for a reason to quit. You want to be treated like an elite pro - and have yet to put up any results. Head down - work hard - get some wins - .910 or better and get moving up to the next league asap. But instead - arrive complain - ask to get outta there. What’s the point ? Just filming content for your airport travel channel.
This is exactly what I don't understand - Trav had already flown 5,000 miles to be there and practiced with the team twice. Why didn't he just suit up and play, put some stats where his mouth is and show what he could do? If nothing else it's some game time under his belt ready for the next team. What else was he doing that evening - sitting in the crowd watching Rob play? Rob was in exactly the same situation, got on the ice and delivered the goods (2As on 3 goals), why didn't Trav do exactly the same? Is it because Rob actually WAS a pro hockey player and understands how it works whilst Trav is playing make believe for the clicks?
Total embarrassment, thinks he is better than the league, this guy just doesn’t get it, if he can’t brag about himself then it’s not filling his ego, stop practicing and play an effin game, let’s see what a Pro Goalie can do in a so called Pro League big boy!!

@jakescriven9705 Milton Keynes is a semi-pro team playing in a league with a 3 import rule. Trav isn't good enough to take an import spot in that league (it's roughly Fed level, with the best players being roughly SPHL level).

The past two years showed it all unravelling and now it's pretty clear that, at 27 years old, Trav isn't performing at a level that even the lowest semi-professional teams want on their team.
I'll explain all of it in an upcoming video. It was the furthest thing from pro hockey which was what was promised. Part of it lies on my agent but as long as he fixes it (which we have and still are working on) It's all good in my books. I'm not perfect and neither is anybody else. I love goaltending and can't fake playing with 18 year old kids and pretend I'm playing pro. thanks for watching and supporting the show my friend :)
@@trav4oilers"can't fake playing with 18 year old kids and pretend I'm playing pro" - that's exactly what you did in Sweden, no?
Your agent pulled off a fleece job, Spain ain’t pro 😂
How do you fly 5,000+ miles to Spain to play for a team and not understand in detail what the deal is?
Especially after you got burned in Sweden after doing the exact same thing?
And multiple posters on here telling him that this isn't a pro league.
At that point it's on you, Trav.
I'll explain all of it in an upcoming video. I love goaltending and the pursuit but I can't fake playing with 18 year old kids in a setup that is less than mens league and pretend I'm playing pro. Nice video. Just checked the stats from the October 5 game, CP Milenio Logroño vs. CH Huarte. Robert LaLonde of ButtEndz is on the scoresheet and Mateo Garcia was in nets. What happened? The opposing team's goalie, Bruno Gonzalez, was 31 years old. Maybe he's the Spanish version of trav4oilers.
Thanks for the Buttendz shoutout 🤟🇪🇸
Is it me or this guy is just not serious about hockey?
Steve McKichan called it 5 years ago - Trav is too interested in making UA-cam videos to be a serious netminder.

I used too think he had passion like no one else. Starting to believe it’s all just for videos and travel. Not the hockey.
You quit Spain already?
What a joke ...

He’s actually 28
If so, then it looks like Spain is done - don't forget the team that Trav supposedly signed for was by far the worst team in that league, so it's not like he can drop down a bit and find another team.
haha no I did not switch hands ;) firstly thank you for supporting and caring man. I'll explain all of it in an upcoming video. Why do you pay an agent to tell you what you should already know? You are not a professional hockey player. If the whole agent thing is part of a bit, this channel is kind of genius. Godspeed, Trav! I hope one day your face will replace those like Lionel Messi on billboards throughout Spain.

Have you ever had a shutout in your life or does your GAA normally match your sv%?
I think I'm officially done watching these. I wanted this guy to succeed in the worst way, but it is always the same story: New hockey team>Train for new hockey team>Something goes wrong, and Trav never actually plays competitive hockey. At this point, I'd rather watch travel vlogs and then play in a beer league. At least we could see him compete in something.
Best of luck, Trav. I really do wish you the best. For me, this storyline is played out.

7:40 "Hopefully i dont have to use any of this video, documenting for intel sake...." there it is fam he aint playing in spain :(
Yep and even worse, the reason he's not playing there is because he thinks he's too good to play for a team that doesn't have tracksuits and its own locker room.
If that were true, Trav would have signed for a better team months ago.
So you flew over 5,000 miles to Spain to play for a team without understanding in detail what the deal is?

I'll explain all of it in an upcoming video. Thanks for watching and supporting the show my friend as always :)

Think it’s time for a new agent…
He has played 22 games (but only played 17 games worth of minutes) since 2018. Most beer league goalies play more games than that in a season. Not sure any agents can make miracles.
Oh I know that lol. Just if you compare this contract/situation vs when he was in sweden, his former agent arguably did a better job. And there will be even less miracles if he truly bailed in spain. Contracts are contracts. people talk.
