It's kind of funny that he speaks English with a Southern-US accent. Most Europeans (naturally) learn British English, and if they DO learn American English, it's with a clear northern accent. It's quite adorable!
@lollopisemis It's the official Swedish coat-of-arms. It dates back to the 1300's, when the king ruled over what was then three countries, Sweden, Norway and Skåne (which is now part of Sweden). So in that respect, they are like the stars on the US flag. It's also the name and logo of the national hockey team, maybe that's why Alex uses it, since he is kind of a sports fan.
@91sweetRose It's from German pay-tv channel Sky (formerly known as Premiere). True Blood gets aired first on Sky SyFy long before it's on RTL2. And this show is called Sky Lounge and was a special before season 3 started, I think. And for the lady: She's called Jessica Kastrop and she's usually presenting a sports (football) show on Sky. I think she's doing her job well, considering she's a sports journalist in first place.
@Cla900: I think that's because the Dutch language already uses a very American sounding "r" so they basically sound like speaking Dutch with an American accent. ;)
@Cla900 It's because we learn so much english(read:american) from TV: American TV shows, movies etc. In germany they still dub alot of stuff on tv and cinemas, so they don't get as exposed (and thus keep their accent more).
@Cla900 Or maybe that he's lived in US for years now is smthing to do with his accent lol. That being said, OMG I need a drooling bucket now. That man is absolutely deelish. He's even better looking IRL but I don't want to sound that shallow. It was his charisma which get me interested in the first place.! Anywho I could watch him all day long :O~
he's a cool guy, Eric is a cool character, and i still don't get what was he doing in Gaga's video. but then again, he's a "little monster" afterall XD
Oh, common, the interviewer did the best she could. I thought she asked some interesting and direct questoins. It's difficult to interview someone in a foreign language. Obviously, this is just for entertainment. It's not like she's a hardcore reporter interviewing the American President or something. We may think Alex is the shit, but really he's just a foreign actor who plays a vampire in an American TV series.
That interview was done for German pay TV and I'm still shocked that this woman was the best they could come up with. Her English is horrible and I bet she sometimes didn't even understand what he was saying, hence the awkward conversation :( I feel really sorry for Alex that he had to go through this. Btw, the audience is so "lame" because here in Germany, shouting and screaming at people is considered rude ;)
@Vidslave i know some people from the netherlands who have lived there all their lives, yet when they speak english they sound american. it's rather odd. but yes..i need a drooling bucket as well LOL and i agree with you. it was his charisma that made me attracted to him....and his height....and his body...and his yeh you get the idea ;)
Why are you calling her a dumb interviewer? All the questions were planned, obviously, including the "can you show me your teeth?" one. They are talking about the vampire show and it was kind of a joke, duh?
@Crayne16 he did have a northern accent, but i guess playing eric in true blood has affected his :P but yes. i do find it rather odd how europeans (people from countries like sweden, norway, denmark, netherlands etc etc) seem to take on an american accent when they speak english. germans don't seem to..the interviewer proves that. i guess it's because their accent is far too strong to lose!
@swedenbabe94 yeh that was my original theory-that your accent is influenced by tv shows, music etc thanks for sharing!! it's been annoying me for ages! couldn't put my finger on it :p
@montelongopictures At least she didn't use the finger. I was cut off from talking when someone stuck out their index finger to stop me from going further. The person who did that to me was one wack-job. She could have excused herself if she wanted to interject.
Thats why most of the german teenagers would die without youtube and online streaming. Most of our television programms make you want to throw something against the screen. xD
people like that interviewer make me ashamed to be german.... doesn't anyone go over her questions before the show? does she get no feedback whatsoever? cause i could've told her that "can you please show me your teeth" is about the dumbest thing to ask. i sure hope people know she's not representative for all germans!!
I raised in Saudi arabia from Palestinine family and you are from Sweden how come to be your dog or bag have you ever heard about middel east war how come how come
@Anathiron us germans are overly critical with one another, no doubt. but there's just something about the style of many interviews of this kind. something pretentious, not very entertaining, not even informative
@TinkVanHell Yeaaaah... it's a bit embarassing... her English is awful and she's just plain strange... BUT I LOVE his signature, especially the little vampire face he draws. ^^ But I can't believe I missed their press tour!
@peachesndcream221 Well it is in Germany, and while they might be able to speak some English, they might not actually be able to properly understand what he's saying? Could be why this audience is so lame...
Yeah, I also think that her german accent is just terrible. Beside the fact that she has no idea how to do a good interview and how to ask good questions...
You destroyed everything with your behaviour with those woman you have been dated dog bags shoes I did got it until I went to Sweden last year what have you done
I love how she says "Oh my God" after he kisses her on both cheeks.
i guess Im quite off topic but does anyone know a good website to watch newly released movies online?
@Vance Joaquin I watch on flixzone. You can find it by googling :)
@Malik Jase Yup, I have been using FlixZone for years myself =)
@Malik Jase thanks, I signed up and it seems like they got a lot of movies there =) Appreciate it !
@Vance Joaquin no problem :D

Nö, da denke ich mir, dass ich ab jetzt auf Männer stehe.
@@emilioestevez6665 ... oder so! 😄
Haha, I'm from Germany and I love hearing him speaking German. :) Sounds totally cute. :D
"Could you please give me a favour and show me your teeth" hahaha what kind of question is that? his face is priceless at that moment :D
I thought it was a weird thing to say.
she's a sports reporter and normally does the interviews with the coaches before and in between the games
Let me tell you, Swedish and German is not to far a part when it comes down to pronunciation
It's kind of funny that he speaks English with a Southern-US accent. Most Europeans (naturally) learn British English, and if they DO learn American English, it's with a clear northern accent. It's quite adorable!
I love how she goes "oh my god" when he kisses her cheeks.
Ich schäme mich so für mein Land....
I love it to hear him speak German *_*
dafuq his german is flawless. im a native speaker and i can't hear an accent. wtf
@EJ2968 That is such an awkward question, and even when she says, "oh, I was just checking". WTH?!
I stopped the video when she asked him to show her his teeth.
I heard you speak a little bit of german? JAWOHL! :D absolutely gorgeous
Oh Gott ist die Moderatorin schlecht

I'm german but I've never ever seen this lady on tv before!
It sounds weird when he speaks German. At least his "natürlich" sounded kinda cute. :D Love him.
@Cla900 It's because we learn so much english(read:american) from TV: American TV shows, movies etc. In germany they still dub alot of stuff on tv and cinemas, so they don't get as exposed (and thus keep their accent more).
okay, i'm from germany.. who the hell is she? i never saw her before on television :D
Alexander is so sexy and handsome.I love him so much ❤️😍
@Cla900 Or maybe that he's lived in US for years now is smthing to do with his accent lol. That being said, OMG I need a drooling bucket now. That man is absolutely deelish. @Anathiron ;-). and that interviewer: like so many others who have posted here, i have no idea who she is and she really seems misplaced
he is so damn attractive.
Ten years ten years dear God
@Vidslave
i know some people from the netherlands who have lived there all their lives, yet when they speak english they sound american.
it's rather odd.

I think Alexander Skarsgard should play Reinhard Heydrich in a movie.
light of day movement? wtf ?? , I guess she meant fellowship of the sun x'D
@Crayne16
he did have a northern accent, but i guess playing eric in true blood has affected his :P

cool ! thanks :-)
@Sventachi Oh ja, ich auch! :D Einfach ein toller Mann. :)
Ne, ich meinte: Im Ernst, wer ist diese Schreckgestalt?! xD
@swedenbabe94
yeh that was my original theory-that your accent is influenced by tv shows, music etc
thanks for sharing!!
it's been annoying me for ages! couldn't put my finger on it :p
okay, maybe it's just the light or the camera angle, but does a certain spot on his pants look absurdly large to anyone else?
@Elinious welcome to germany! (i am german)

@WaRii20: Er, what? Maybe you should look at the comment I was referring to..
@Sventachi Ist er nicht einfach klasse? :) Und so talentiert. *_*
@montelongopictures At least she didn't use the finger. I was cut off from talking when someone stuck out their index finger to stop me from going further. The person who did that to me was one wack-job. She could have excused herself if she wanted to interject.
Woo
Is it just me, or does he sound kind of country?
@MsQwilliams
Thats why most of the german teenagers would die without youtube and online streaming. Most of our television programms make you want to throw something against the screen. xD
@iSOEIA and God Bless the Swedish ;P
Naja, ist ja auch auf Sky, nech.
@91sweetRose naja, guck dir die interviewerin an. kenn ich aber auch nicht.
He sounds like a Texan. Wtf?
''She will after that... be slightly obsessed with him. And he (chuckles) enjoys that.'' Oh ALEX :P
why does he have an american accent?
people like that interviewer make me ashamed to be german.... doesn't anyone go over her questions before the show? does she get no feedback whatsoever? cause i could've told her that "can you please show me your teeth" is about the dumbest thing to ask. i sure hope people know she's not representative for all germans!!
Can be more so handsome?
@Trampadoo Eeuuhh... Dutch is not from Germany?
What a weird interview. That lady isn't very good at interviewing. The whole situation is just very awkward.
friggin sexy. thats all.
I raised in Saudi arabia from Palestinine family and you are from Sweden how come to be your dog or bag have you ever heard about middel east war how come how come
Look at that face.... need I say more?
@Anathiron us germans are overly critical with one another, no doubt. but there's just something about the style of many interviews of this kind. something pretentious, not very entertaining, not even informative
I would die if I had to watch this kind of TV in Germany. Sucks to live in Germany. sorry
@TinkVanHell Yeaaaah... it's a bit embarassing... her English is awful and she's just plain strange... BUT I LOVE his signature, especially the little vampire face he draws. ^^ But I can't believe I missed their press tour!
dumbest interviewer ever, hottest actor ever
@peachesndcream221 Well it is in Germany, and while they might be able to speak some English, they might not actually be able to properly understand what he's saying? Could be why this audience is so lame...
@MsJeyTD me tooooooo (*_*) also ich auch XD
Yeah, I also think that her german accent is just terrible. Beside the fact that she has no idea how to do a good interview and how to ask good questions...
I live in Germany and I have never even heard of that show or that terrible interviewer!
Germans and their non-existent humor :D
(Kidding, kidding)
