Thanks, my mom has this car and I can't believe how infuriating it was to see the battery placement. I knew I had to take those panels off but it was great seeing a step by step. I was a shade tree mechanic whenever the internet wasn't around I remember working all day on stuff like this trying to figure out what I had to take off. Makes me even more thankful guys like you take the time to make these videos
I actually appreciated seeing the struggles that naturally occur and how to overcome them. Good advice on attempts to make simpler but then compromise to do it right
Thanks so much for this video! I'm an industrial mechanic but I am clueless when it comes to working on cars, not only did you give clear instructions, you mentioned things that could go wrong, things to look out for/avoid, and best of all you specified exactly what tools were needed for the job. Most other videos I found went the way of taking off the air manifold but that way really looked like a potential can of worms, and the only other video I found showing the way you did it was a rushed video that only mentioned some of the tools needed and really glossed over some important details. This video is the best and you're a life saver!!!
We need to stop buying these cars until they start making them easier to do simple repairs. The automobile companies want you to take your car to their dealerships so they can charge you extremely high prices on parts and labor.

Thanks for the video. Some comments. Fully charge your new battery before installing. They are not fully charged (some are low as 1/4 charge) before installing. Clean the battery box before putting new battery in. Clean the battery connectors (inside, with special brush) before installing on new battery.
