Fountain pen Monteverde Regatta : review

Monteverde is a company created in 1999 and included in the Yafa group.
The Monteverde Regatta Sport pen is, as its name suggests, a tribute to boat racing and sailors/skippers.
Will it be ranked on top in the competition?
NB: all the writing reviews are done with the Rhodia 80gsm, all ink swatches are with the Tomoe River Hobonichi

You have almost sold me on this pen, just by demonstrating the magnetic cap posting. I've been looking at this pen but I've heard some bad things about Monteverde pens and had put it out of my mind. And now you've reawakening my interest. Outstanding review.

Thank you ! For info I'm on the way also to review the Monteverde Ritma espresso which has also the same magnetic cap system (but the grip is much bigger).
