It just impresses me again and again how even larger boats sometimes simply DISSAPEAR between these waves! Thanks for the footage and commentary, always fun to watch out of Switzerland in the heart of Europe.
I can get my Hobie cat outta that inlet without any problems. Ha ha Oh yes, for real. Guess I’d reef the main just in case. Much easier to up right like that.
I want to buy a boat, have zero experience. What is the best tips you can give to a newbie? How to navigate rough water like this, let’s say with a 21 ft center console
Never done a inlet or bar crossing shouldn’t u sit back watch the waves judge the movements before crossing? As I know bar scrosssing always changes with small window of change in let I believe wind and tide make a difference
Andrew Manche yep use brains another words, got a flat haul boat won’t be doing that anytime soon but got a mate who is willing to show me when up grades come about he has a level 5 masters restricted
Andrew Manche there is no competition I know what I know from marine rescue what u explained from your description to having someone next me when I try for the first time will all be taken into account, even down to the teachings of my grandfather and his 50 years of Esperance to my 30 years to my skippers trading in marine rescue I feel I won’t fail
Andrew Manche I know...., I am a chef grandfather a carpenter he is also x navy only way I can keep his passion for sea alive is to be on the water thus all I can do is learn despite have reading writing issues is by doing and brings me back to watch see observe do, I am in Australia Brisbane mortan bay is a challenge I master but not bar crossings know the theory just got to experience that will come one day
Andrew Manche I have heard stories ever south passage bar can be a little deadly, my grandfather took 3 hours to get to horse shoe bay from sand mining jetty with 3 meter waves in middle of the night when I was 13 or 14 I learned a lot that night also vic point Air Sea Rescue years ago learning other people’s mistakes god I love the say but atm all I can afford is a 12ft tinnie powered by a 15 hp
Andrew Manche sorry late reply no I don’t of late only been down brassy river Somerset dam Logan river and Jacobs well , never been over a bar yet been close to south passage in 14 foot took a look at at 1.5 to 2 meter waves said let’s go home Next trip I do when got a good displacement haul is peel or st Helena island area or depend on the day would like to try mortan island fish around the wreaks It is great to talk to another who loves the sea...., she can be unpredictability like somebody who is on meth but she keeps u alive and respectful
Being European, I am curious to know what is required to steer a boat like a 50 ft in the US. I mean is there a skill test and license? Just asking looking at some of those captains.

the cabin door smacking around on the last boat gave me nostalgia
would like to see 80 footer plus on these kinda condition
Depends on the bow because our 42 foot freemen goes through this just fine
I assume it would just cruise right through like nothing
Yeah like a west port 106 or something
These are fun as hell to watch and the Bronco Guru voice over is really entertaining.
You need some wave slapping asmr in one of these episodes lol
Uh oh first my drain plug, now my trailer chocks! Oh no!!!!
This was oddly satisfying
Hi another great vid
HE LOST HIS LITTLE DINGY WITH THE MERCURY OMG Nice Vid bro!

Dane Oldelehr agreed
Great Videos 4th guy in the Mako got some balls I don't know if I would have tackled it the Old Star Craft! Love your channel thanx Smokeywilson
The two guys in the mako are fishermen.. they did a great job
You know, it might require more work but it would be interesting if you started including the MSRP on each boat shown in your videos.
I almost want to go to FL and rent a boat just to be on an episode. I will be the one mooning the camera.
thank god i never have to go these
Man got some nice windshield wipers on there
Chaparral from my bass fishing days seemed to handle like a good sports car. Corvette of the swamp.
We went trough the jetties in South Carolina in a 40 foot sea hunter with 4/450s on the Back and still took a wave over the front will going 45 mph
The last one out was not that rough. Compared to some videos.. Thanks for showing.
We haven’t seen any big cats
And most people think people have more fun with boats.
Wish there was ambient sounds as well as Mr Talky Talk! Bit of engine and sea sound would be good
Watch wavy boats. Same footage but no voiceover
@@yaishmatheen4274 will do, thank you
Have you guys seen the video of the first boat trying to recover the lost dingy
How big do you think the waves get at haulover

Not a fun ride you say, cause its rough? I have a different way of looking at it i guess.

Coastguard must be busy in US. Seems the only requirement to operate some boats is money to buy it.
man i could take this in my 12 foot jon boat with my troller
Broncos, can you rip it through haulover?
Wait wavy boats is you to lool
Just popped over and subbed
Thanks for being here, Rider! 👍
Do you think a 28 foot scout will make it past
Wheres the hinckleys?
I work there lol.
Rob Fox - Hinckley? They still in business 🙇🏻♂️
May I ask What’s haulover ?
Crypto Man just found this channel so I could be wrong but I believe the beach is called Haulover beach.
Round 4 should’ve gone to the boat. Small boat, open bow and didn’t take on water.
what the name of boat round 2 and price if you can find please
I know u asked 12 month ago, but I think this is a Galeon 470 Sykdeck. They cost arround 1mio €.

@mike force It was just a question out of interest. No need to become aggressive.
A check book is the requirements.
mike force you must be the biggest fucking idiot i’ve ever seen in a comment section HAHA
Platinum credit card.
@@ralphholiman7401 At least someone with humor. But I guess Centurion or Black where I am from.
Why do I watch this? I don’t even have a boat
Some boats are designed just to float...
Wavy boats had the same video
I don’t like those flashy boats it’s like buying a neon yellow mustang or something but to each their own
nobody gives a fuck what you don`t like

Why don't most of them never wear life jackets? in the uk you never see anybody that is going out to sea not wear a life jacket .......

Mi sembra che gli americani non abbiano molto chiaro quanto sia pericoloso sostare a prua in navigazione, soprattutto con mare mosso.
Click bait pics get worse and worse. I know it’s all about those $$$$ though cuz you need that midnight express or yellowfin. Or so u think
Those searays r not seaworthy
