I like the amount of effort you put into your videos, I like the fact that every video has a plot of entertainment and isn’t just limited to the trend itself but I keep running into more politics than I’d expect and really weird lines like the “Talentless crook” thing. It’s obviously your platform, you have the right to say whatever you want I think(?) but some of these things aren’t exactly as agreeable as you make them sound. Idc for anyone to criticize how Tupac’s music is or him in his actions but he obviously stood for something very important and it sounds like you’re scrutinizing others who care about the same values. TLDR I admire your effort and fell in love with your work at first but with some of the things you’ve said, I’d rather not associate.
Same, I am enjoying some of Harry's content but in more than one video I'm getting unconfortable vibes from him, he gets way too political for no reason
Yeah same, I always got the vibe from him that he was a really judgmental type of person and by that I mean the type to really look down on you if you like a show he thinks is awful. I still watch his videos but it's always just for the content, never him because he _really_ feels like the type of person I don't want to associate nor interact with. He just doesn't feel like a particularly good person.
YES THANK YOU!!! I agree so much, because Tupac was a person who fought for freedom. Harry's "jokes" or remarks about him make Tupac seem as if he's all just "gangs good, swearing fun, drugs and violence yippee!" Which is not true.
Simplifying a rapper who positively impacted tons of people this way while admitting you don't even like rap (thus can't really tell the difference between good & bad rap) strikes me as Harry doing the polar opposite of lame PC culture as a "take that" & two wrongs don't really make a right. "Well he did crime" yeah and tons of celebs from light-skinned races did equally as if not more questionable things while still having artistic merit. Regular people who like him are just gonna see it as the other side of the "this creator you like is a toxic mediocre cishet white man" coin. Not trying to shit on him; I think he has excellent aesthetic sense. Just saying this stuff ends up being just as divisive.
I usually really like your videos, but for some of these takes I hope is the satire going over my head. Rappers not being real musicians and only crooks loving them is some real white boomer stuff. The undocumented migrants bit was a bit of an eyebrow raiser. And the, funnily enough, hot take of criticizing Banksy for not being much of a hot taker is a very common opinion. Yes, Banksy art is corny, but he has done thousands of artworks in a lot of different media (Sculptures, installations, performance art, mockumentary, etc.) that even if most of it is shallow, it still admirable the dedication and fun ways that it adapts to the environment where it was made. I don't kow, this video gave me the vibe that all those ironic woke jokes weren't ironic in the first place.
