Biggest mistake in trading is averaging and in simple term its called regretting for being greedy.
Yes, mine also same problem as you stated, big problem in trading is emotional mindsets and greedyness, if we control that then we will achieve better in share market, but how to control of greedyness while trading is the biggest question mark in trading life?
Same thing happened with me I m new trader just one month in market and I m so excited because I make profit from starting and without any knowledge I started trading in yes bank a falling knife and lost most of my capital and also much more then my profits using leverage and now I m learning....... 😅

I earned 30% return on first year of my trading and on the second year i started trading on derivatives without much knowledge and blew 60% of capital in 2 days.
I felt devasted , it felt. overwhelming. But then i made some rules for myself...gained knowledge on derivatives and now I have recovered atleast 50% of what is lost. Derivatives is hard but its the only thing I do. On daily basis i am able to earn around 800 everyday now. Its not much but its increasing my experience level.
Market deta hai to leta usse zyada hai. Be aware.

Thanks for sharing such things... Even similar happened with me, I was keeping on averaging & then when I lost more than 60% of capital I squared off my position myself. Stick was Yes Bank in 2019
It takes a lot of courage and confidence to share one's failures ...Hats off to Sir for sharing and helping people to be smart when dealing with stock markets...Contrary to market inputs which say buy when it falls to average the buy price...👌

@@gouthamkoundinya Bro I don't play big I start with 10 to 20k and if I reach 50% returns I withdraw my profits and only trade in crude and nickel...
Now I will stop trading if my loss reaches 30 to 40% for some days....
Just don't know I am stupid or is it passion I can't stop trading😊
@@gouthamkoundinya "passion"? Who enjoys losing? I think its part of our psychology to earn a quick return without having to put in much effort, hence which is why casinos exist and people play despite knowing that they are participating in games that are mathematically rigged against them.
I suggest you get into the buffet way of thinking and play for the long term. 🙂

the same happened to me, when I was trading bank nifty futures, the futures price fell of a sudden, me thinking that it will have good support now and bought again a lot. It fell almost 1299 points in just few minutes. But my loss was 6k
a big one though for me.
That stopped me to trade anymore

I feel there is only one rule to follow for option trading - follow the rally . don't trade against rally even averaging is safe in rally too.

2021 12th Jan maine short Kiya thaa aur uss din dlf ne 11:00 baje breakout Diya thaa and tab 6-7 percent upar gayaa thaa .... normally fno stock pure din mai 3-4 percent upar niche hota hai lekin uss din muje loss huaa thaa and mujhe mkt mai tab 3-4 mth hi hua thaa
This guy is looting innocent new comers...who know some things about stock market and he is targeting those guys by showing them hope that they will earn millions through market...
Commenting like an idiot, learn and follow him, you will repent for making this statemènt

averaging slap mi to loss of 75% of capital. but whatever happens, will teach us that what need to do when it happens again.

Its better to keep money in Fixed deposit, Liquid fund and Ultra short term fund. Capital protection should be more important than earning high returns. Stock market always crashes after some years. One should be satisfied with returns between 7 to 9%. If u want to invest in stock market then do SIP in a balanced fund(mutual fund) at every market fall for atleast 5 years and dont invest all your money in stock market. Dont be greedy otherwise you might lose all your money. Be safe and be happy.
I bet you sell mutual funds and earn more than investors.
But is it ok to set stop loss in option trading of nifty bank nifty , bcz it goes down out of imagination in single candle to hit stop loss

Don’t buy stock before pre market
Buy stock after market open for 2 hours and check for momentum

If u were averaging with leaverage.... & broker has auto squared off ur trade... U must hve blown up ur account... Not just 70% of it

* In the short turn market acts like a voting machine and in the long it acts like a weighing machine. If he had bought a quality company and if this had happened in the short run he would have turned out well in the long, but you can never predict the market. So dont even try and stick to predicting the fate of a few quality companies. Also stay clear of using leverage as anything can happen in the short term and when anything goes wrong your margin calls will clear any of your long positions and will cause you to lose.
