Great first impressions. I look forward to your review after they wear down. Some tires are good until the Tres is gone, others, even with visible tread, no longer grip well. - Frank

Great review, the points you discussed are the ones I need to know before I purchase them. I’d be happy if I get 4 thousand miles.

I'm have gotten used to the tires now. Compared to the stock tires and now they feel pretty smooth on the road . Still have gotten to take them offroad yet.

If you don't like the on road manners of the Raid tires you will DEFINITELY not like the motoz tractionators they are substantially more aggressive and for the first 800 miles they are silent but after they are hellaciously loud, Im on my 3rd set of tractionators but I was doing BDRs alot and thinking about buying the Raids specifically for a quieter on road performance

Ok thank you but this is my first time with adventure motorcycles and my first time having more aggressive tires on my ktm. Which model of motoz tractionar are you using? Rally or desert rally or regular tractionar tires?

@marshall3498 I had all but the desert HT , 5 front tires both rallz and adventure and 3 rears both rallz and adventure they are all about the same for wear, all provide superb traction in wet and dry pavement the offroad performance is also superb even in greasy mud, I even rode during a hurricane once and regularly ride in all four seasons in the northeast and never needed more traction they are extremely aggressive tread about an inch-inch and a half deep knobs. Now for the negatives the rear tires last about 3 times longer than the fronts both the adventure and the rallz type... they vibrate a substantial amount from start to finish the front tires only last about 2000-2500 miles before they start really scaloping badly on the leading edges of the knobs and they start humming extremely loudy once that happens The highway manners are a little twitchy but are ok but you can't expect much on road performance from a tire that is designed as a 90%offroad /10%onroad if you want extreme offroad performance they are the tire for you if you only go down dirt roads and fire trails occasionally and mostly ride on pavement they are not the tire you want

On smooth pavement I got some weird speed vibrations on mine. 90/90+21 and 150/70-17 rear on a Triumph Scrambler 1200 XE. Speeds over 100 mph the bouncing is a death trap. Any thoughts?

I have heard aggressive tires like these are usually not great at speeds above 85 mph.

@@marshall3498 That may be so, but these are bouncing from 30 mph and up running straight on a smooth surface. At higher speeds it just becomes risky.

O ok did you balance the tires?

@@marshall3498 The shop did, but they are really bouncy from 55 kph to 90 kph, and then reasonably calm until 150 kph when things get really interesting....

Get rebalanced. They are not right
