I've never grasped the difference between the old rock school and the newer vibes, it looks like Placebo bring it all back and it strictly makes the emotions appear as groundbreaking as in the past. Several people don't get the abilities of this band because this is a restricted target music, related to a few people who still look for the real music without being influenced by the worthless tunes MTV and local radios broadcast. That's no commercial point and we want their music to be flawless and workmanlike, I don't care if MTV gets far from the expression of rock due to the chance of finding your favorite bands on Internet. My tip to you is to be less clingy when you watch TV because the greatest artists will never flow during daily broadcasting, TV scares the bravest guys off.
I totally agree with your comment, once more ;-) But Placebo has got a lot of fans here in Europe...It's not like some "commercial" bands but the crowd is present when they perform a gig.
THIS IS THE BAND I FELL IN LOVE 12 YEARS AGO. Not whatever they are now... Still love them, but they disappoint me... Hope the MTV unplugged brings those feelings back... :(

Placebo js still good but at that time they were on their best! So much fire and passion. The people who were at that concert in Paris are blessed.
