The drummer in this song is a Ghanaian. He introduced jazz tempo to Sunny Ade’s music as soon as he joined the band. He’s 75 years old now and an elderly friend. He’s now in Ghana and still playing drums. He wishes to see King Sunny Ade again.
I am a dye-in-the-wool fan of KSA as far back as the 70's! KSA grew his passion for juju music and placed it on the world map via creativity, innovations, stagecraft, etc., like no other. This side 2 of Ode ti pogidan soko, Kiti kiti kiti kiti, is one number I can never be tired of. Like the dreg of palm wine at the bottom of the keg, the dreg of the Kiti kiti number is the last track, Igba mba jo.....Sir K. Just listen to the rolling talking drum that provided the crest on which Sunny's vocals and his backup singers rode till the end. That was the dreg of this number reserved for the elderly to savour with a chilled bottle of wine or beer in the evening after a hard day's work! Check it out.

From Ghana. But sunny Ade and Ebennezer Obey. These two JUJU musicians. It will be very hard .to get someone like them . they are more than JUJU .masters.
King SUNNY ade is my mentor and is my best juju music i used to listen to right from the 70s till date.I wish i could have money to invite to come and play for me before he is no more in this world. Long live king SUNNY Ade, long life juju music. King SUNNY Ade you will live long in this world, you will not die, likewise juju music will not die as well. More blessings sir King SUNNY Ade.
Now, if there’s any musician I can listen to days on end without getting bored it’s KSA.Thanks Toks Daramola but I noticed some of his songs are no longer available Long live KSA
Happy 70th birthday the 26th day of this month. You shapened my person as a youth. Since when I became aware of music and the attendant rytheme, dancing and ascented Yoruba language and very sophisticated culture and fashion, you have been a pathfinder. Inspite of the influx of foreign musics ,you kept up the tradition until some of us your fans decleared "if Sunny Ade should nock tins of milk together to wax a record,we will buy" such was your uniqueness and prodigy. We can't have enough of you.Even our God can't have enough of your praise,That's why He has granted you long life.Live on king of African music.O san dede pelue oo omo Aladeniyi
