Marking on M.S Flat W/P by Vernier Height Gauge (Precision Instruments-0.02 mm) ITI/Mech.Engg Trades
In this video we Will learn how to marking on Mild Steel Flat Work piece by Vernier Height Gauge, also we will discuss about Job Drawing of Work piece as per given dimensions.
To complete this Marking process on M S flat w/p we will required the following Tools & Equipments :-
1. Vernier Height Gauge:- 1Pc
2. SURFACE Plate =1 Pc
3.Angle Plate= 1 Pc
4.White Chalking Painted MS Flat Work piece = As per required.

Least Count of Vernier Height gauge= 0.02 mm

How to mark 10.5 mm

1).Main scale reading :- 10 mm
(Vernier zero division cross the 10th of main scale division and Stand between 10 th and 11th division of main scale division)
2). Vernier scale reading:- 25× 0.02 mm = .50 mm
(Vernier 25th division is coinciding (meet) any main scale division).
Total reading:- 10.50 mm
