Katie looked quicker, also gave you the chance to capture some cool shots off the side and above. I was waiting for the miss judged branch and a face full of snow haha
When you are driving on those snow covered roads what sort of speed are you doing. Love those shots driving through the snow with all your lights on, feels like tou are in the Millennium Falcon. Go Yetti
We usually get the leftovers of American weather events anout a week after they happen there, so maybe you'll get a big freeze in about 4-5 days and hit that -40°C target! 🤞 Great video guys 😘
Brilliant one Alex. Fabulous experience. Are you going to manage to find somewhere that is going to be as low as -40. Keep up the Wonderful Adventures Mate
Definitely a great experience I’ve never done it before. Ice hotel was well worth a visit even though I went last year, it was great to go back and see this year‘s version.
@@sportalepies unfortunately, Yorkshire tea doesn’t work very well in ice glasses in the ice bar! Although Katie did make me go buy tea for her trip here
Turning a snowmobile in deep snow is called "burka" in Swedish, basically both you and the passenger need to lean for it to turn properly otherwise you'll tip over. PS your power cable does not seem to be rated for that temperature, check for cracks before you use it again. You need a proper rubber cable. 👍
Another wonderful video Alex. And how good did that reindeer burger look. Just as a side note and for my own curiosity, how keen are the police in Scandinavian countries on seeing your rear number plate. I notice yours is covered with snow due to the conditions, but as you know in the UK the police would be all over you. Anyway thanks for sharing. All the best.
Thank you glad you enjoyed the video and the reindeer burger was amazing! As for numberplates, I don’t really know the polices opinion, because so many cars have hidden numberplates from snow , you see so many of them covered due to snow. In the right snowing conditions, you could have it completely covered within a few moments of driving even if you cleaned it
Awesome video once again. I visited the 365 Ice Hotel in June. It was really cold but I suppose the word ice in the name should have given me a clue. There was some creepy art then, some of which still remains as I saw it in your video. The more I see of your trip the more I want to experience winter in Scandinavia.
Who was better at snowmobiling? Katie or I?
Katie, much faster.😄
Katie looked quicker, also gave you the chance to capture some cool shots off the side and above. I was waiting for the miss judged branch and a face full of snow haha
Alex close thing, but Katie looked faster, i think your skills are definatly behind the camera! Captured some epic action footage from the back seat
Got to say Alex, as you create the vids! But Katie rocked it
Go Katie

Depends on road conditions “snow covered” roads vary massively but a lot of then 70kph / 50mph or maybe down to 37mph if it not great

Who knows it seems pretty unlikely at the minute. It’s definitely been quite warm for awhile. hopefully a deep freeze will come.
Brilliant one Alex. Fabulous experience. Are you going to manage to find somewhere that is going to be as low as -40. Keep up the Wonderful Adventures Mate
Thank you! At the minute, it’s quite mild, so waiting for temperatures to drop again
What an epic day out! Wow, that ice hotel is amazing. Safe travels and looking forward to the next instalment.
Definitely a great experience I’ve never done it before. Ice hotel was well worth a visit even though I went last year, it was great to go back and see this year‘s version.
@@MispronouncedAdventures , not sure about the beer though, think I would prefer a cup of Yorkshire Tea 😁🫖

@@MispronouncedAdventures Lol, didn't spot the glasses were made of ice! Tea would have got messy quickly.
Snowmobile trip looked awesome fun!
100% was, I want to play on them more!
Epic scenery, travel safe.
Definitely is epic up here I completely agree!

It was only a day experience, so only on the tracks, the deep snow was the guide playing around
So at what point were you going to tell the reindeer that earlier you had eaten there uncle hahaha 🍔😋
Circle of life. reindeer feed me, I feed reindeer😂
On my bucket list ice hotel add that snow machine too it as well. Is Katie your partner ?
The ice hotel is definitely well worth a visit as is riding snowmobiles. No, Katie is not my partner
YUS (again) 🥲

Love the cut of your jib bruv!
@@rossfrasermclean thank you very much

Goes to Ice Hotel and keeps saying "This is cool". Nope, it's beyond cool, it's freezing. 🙂
Indeed very true!
Only tried Snowmobiling once, can't say I enjoyed it. Probably didn't help half of it was on Alpine mud 🤔 At least you seemed to enjoy it.
I could imagine on Alpine mud, it might be less fun.
How far did you travel on them?
Interesting how they turn their heads to not let the antlers touch ... that is what it looks like but I ain't there.
Imagine they’ve got great spatial awareness of those things on their heads
I think this year the ice hotel (2022) has far less creepy art, than the ice hotel of last year (2021).
Could well be, I don’t think there were many creepy ones this year

Yes, I noticed in the ice hotel 365, some rooms were the same as last time I was here while others were different. I’m pretty sure that’s the case
£17 for a burger😮
There is a reason I normally cook in the van on the day to days of the trip. Eating out is not cheap!
