We're all going to get uncomfortable together for this one... Thanks for the nightmare fuel Primm!
Gary was talking spicy tho. No pause just spewing out a bunch of AYOO language😩😂
my face was disgusted the entire time I seen that white man on the screen.
This should have been on Spooky Rice. Cringe Hood Movie.
This show is leftover material from 70s Blaxploitation era, but with white savior @@mordecaimcnasty
Who did that to you? 😢
I'm surprised Primm ain't go on Dudley's hairline. 😂 Perfect missed opportunity.
Or his fuckin name! "Dudley"? Tf?
Damn. This is the first and only episode that comes to mind when I think of Different Strokes.
I said the same thing big tramu episode
I always think about when Kimberly’s hair turned green, when Nancy Regan was on and when Jayne Kennedy as MsJenkins was moonlighting at the Kit Kat klub
Primm really be coming through with these vids… he’s an underrated all star straight up
Of all the episodes of Different Strokes, this is the only one permanently burned into my memory. This episode sparked a whole discussion at the crib, in school, everywhere. I understand now why they wrote it the way they did; approaching such a subject back in the early 80's on a highly rated prime time sitcom was really tricky. They had to try to balance laughs with getting a point across to parents and younger viewers. This episode took the #1 spot of darkest episode in a sitcom for me. Prior to this one, it was another two-part show: Good Times "The Evans Get Involved" where they introduced Penny and her physically abusive mother.
@10:05 that killed me Primm is a All Star ⭐⭐⭐😂😂😂
Fuckin fax
Primm is an all-star 💫, but we all knew that. I was thinking about a possible new video from him today. The algorithm is undefeated.
This was the first and only episode of this show I watched 😭😭 bicycle man scared me
I was a HUGE fan of this show as a preteen and Todd Bridges was my first major TV crush so of course I remember when this episode aired. I remember feeling cheated that they never showed what actually happened to Dudley after hyping it up with 2 "special" episodes.😒😁 Back then if you didnt watch it on Saturday at 8pm you werent going to see it again until reruns in the summer. I thought it was iight back then but I remember thinking Dudley's father was so strange but now I realize he was just a big gay black man 😂. And Todd Bridges so damn fiiiine wit his crack head self 😂❤...the last living castmate. Thank you for the roast 😘
This episode is brought to you by Sound of Freedom
Dudley got his lick back (pause) by killing Jason so it’s cool ig
I've been waiting for this..
“I don’t know how to ride a bike” and the “bitch shut the fuck up” clip was hella hilarious to me😂
This episode saved a whole generation of kids from SA. I watched it when it aired and I was a kid; because of this episode, I avoided SA from a Boy Scout leader, who tried to feed me alcohol as a kid. This episode was shockingly accurate of its depiction of a predator. That scout leader ended up being arrested for molesting over 20 boys.
Thank you for sharing!
What’s tragic is that the actor who played Will was actually SA while on the show by a producer the irony is sickening.
before or after this episode? also, whatever happened to the producer?
Yep, Todd bridges
You want some more depression to go with it?
Look up "Gary Coleman 911 call", and listen to his wife totally bullshit about him "falling down the stairs".
The only conclusion you'll have afterwards: He was killed for his money, and the bitch got away with it.

Bro!!! I’ve never seen both parts (only part 2) and I literally said the same thing! He was chill af w leaving Dudley behind.
I think he got Dudley because when the cops showed up he was drunk with no shirt on
@paulohernanndizz3506 FACTS. Dudley said he felt a lil dizzy.
Nah when the dad said “it’s not your fault and I’m not gonna punish you” that was actually top tier writing. I’m sure a lot of kids were blamed for their own abuse back then kinda made me tear up a bit

@@EclecticDDoh shit.
I remember viewing this at the age of 6. Honestly, as a member of the target demographic when this episode was aired, I understand why it was portrayed in such a way. The show was essentially a sitcom so they kept the laugh track as a buffer. However the rampant upheaval of abduction, abuse and deviance we were observing in the early 80's left most TV producers no choice but to address these issues since that was our current reality. Mind you, we were living in the era where people still thought that you could get HIV from a high 5 and cell phones still came in the form of a suitcase lmfao. As corny and dated as the presentation may seem, the context in which the message was conveyed was actually relevant and appropriate; especially considering they had to write a controversial subject into a comedy manuscript. I think they pulled it off as well as they could. Times was tough!
There's levels to everything you wrote that make solid points - no excuse for laugh track and sexual innuendo, cut the cap
@@seewhativesceneThe laugh track was always there from the jump. Don't forget that the show was a comedy first before they tackled this issue. Also, that was hardly sexual innuendo. That was straight up predation in progress.
The double entendres and writing on this was insane. The "oh mah gawd" with mans look after the ice cream melting i laughed then immediately felt uncomfortable. Reminds me of the Smart Guy episode but this was much wilder.
Also I'm still waiting on that Steve Harvey Show episode that's been "Up Next" since the beginning 😅

Bike, man, much worse. That guy just wanted to give his wife another kid not fuck him
Back then they tried to keep it light enough so kids wouldn’t get freaked out by the subjects on those special episodes and also to have conversations that were important that’s part of why they kept the laugh tracks in.

I understand how sitcoms were EATING with the "special episodes," during the 80's-90's, but this one ALWAYS felt just a bit TOO dark and real for me. Even at my big age of 32 today...I'm still convinced that they found an actual mf from the predator list to play the bicycle man. He played that shit TOO damn good! Thanks for the humor you could bless us with in this episode, because I ALWAYS get uncomfortable/triggered with this one.
I mean child abuse IS dark. It’s good this episode made you uncomfortable. I hope it made you alert too. A lot of child predators are hiding in plain sight
I wouldn't be surprised if the bicycle man was a hollywood executive in real life.
I always thought I dreamt this episode for some reason. It was pretty dark the way it was laid out
@@wildhearts242If I Was An Actor I Wouldn't Want To Play A Role Of A Child Molester I Know It's Just Acting But Acting Requires You To Go Places You Wouldn't Go Mentally And Morally.

That's not a wine bottle at 4:47. That's a decanter. You pour wine into it. However, before pouring wine into the decanter, you put a filter in or over the spout of the decanter. Then pour the wine into the decanter. The filter will filter out sediment and cork particles in the wine bottle. During the process, you will also be aerating the wine, allowing it to breathe. Exactly. Mr Drummond is old money too, by way he talks and dresses, so he has connections as well as money.
Man this episode really scared me when I was 6 (1983-84). The actor who played the Bike Man was also the Maytag Repair Man, which I always thought was weird...
Different strokes like Good times had various villains on here, just like Bike man, like the man that kidnapped Kimberly, etc.
Great coverage Primm!! Pizza=kid lover
Alotta of them episodes were on some weird stuff. The space guy kidnapped Arnold &Kimberly!!!
And what's fucked up is.. The writers & staff etc. were touching those kids foreal.. smh.. They All grew up fucked up and speaking out about it..
you mentioning how they should have minimized the laugh track made me think of the Dahmer situation. Men of color were being drugged and manipulated but people just thought it was funny because it was gay dudes. And even after everyone found out those men were killed, people were focused on or fans of Dahmer while completely forgetting the victims. I know it's an extreme turn to connect this episode and Dahmer but I just think laughter needs to be taken out at times to expose true danger that is lurking.
this is the one I’ve been anticipating! This is truly uncomfortable and sickening how predators can come in different ways, even though they might be a close friend of yours
The honorable thing to do is put them out of (our) misery
I didn't know about the laugh track when I was a kid, and I thought it was messed up. Nothing in this episode was funny. Smh

I loved this show and yep this and the smart guy episode messed me up also the sister sister episode where the man was tryna take naked pictures of Tamera. Man they was telling us all the pesos yes I spelled it like that on purpose was in Hollywood
The shows were filmed in front of a live audience back then. Like 90% of sitcoms were shot in warehouses in front of people.

it’s kinda morbid when you think about the fact that willis is the only person from this show that’s still alive

“My tongue is faster than a hummingbird’s wing.” 🤢 🤮 (and they really put a laugh track and after that man was talking about how much “fun” it is to be naked together unless you’re in the North Pole-hiiiil a ri ous. The subject matter seems SO serious). They made child SA “funny” and laugh track worthy. The writers and everyone involved besides the child actors should be locked UP for God’s sake. Parents too.
