- For those wondering how to make and export a dragy video with the timing tree countdown on the video. When you make the run the lights are not on your screen, it just starts when your car moves. When you make the video usually the lights do not align perfectly and it looks like your car moves before the light turns green. The timing is correct tho, I have tested well over a hundred times at various tracks. It is within 6 hundreths of a second 95% of time.

Is there a time limit for the recording? Say you were on a bike and wanted to record a highway run, but turn it on before you get on highway and then do the run a minute or so later?
Or would you pull over and start a run from zero and then later record 60-130 or 100-200 while on the highway. In mexico of course.
Not sure if there is a limit on videos, but converting videos is tedius and only works half the time, so I would recommend pressing the record button right before you do what you need to do. Non video mode it is always keeping track as long as the app is open.

Hi. I wonder what the temperature readout is of? Is it ambient temp? Phone temp? GPS module temp? intake temp? Oil temp? Water temp... If it's oil temp, how does it get that info? I guess as it just plugs into USB power, not OBD2, it must just be ambient temp?

Does the yellow and red dots show on the video screen to count you down when to go? Or

No those are put into the video during the export process and only show up in video.
I just go a dragy, but no count down is displayed on the phone or video. Otherwise, dragy seems to be working fine. Any suggestions as to why the count down is not being displayed?
@firefox914 the timer is only added if you export the saved video.

Can you take a video from outside the car or does the phone have to be in the car while taking a video?
Bluetooth has a pretty decent range, so you could probably mount your phone anywhere outside the car and it would work.

You don't. Dragy requires the app to connect to the device.
So if i am at the track how do put a delay? On it i am bumping into the light?
Once you are staged, the time it takes for the lights to drop is enough for dragy to not start its timer.
Mine won't display the tree or any of that. Just speed & such. I have to click my end video results to see any numbers/stats. How do I fix this?
The tree is not displayed real time. The software adds the tree in after the fact when you export it from your video history.
how do you delete vidios that you dont want off your phone ?
Go to screen where you can see videos, click edit button at top right. Select vids you want to delete then click delete button bottom right.

Timer only is shown after you export video.

How do i get it to talk, i hear some people say 60 or wither qtr mile.
Turn the volume on your phone up. If it's already up you might have to go into your phone settings and make sure dragy has access permission for the speaker.
At the track can u hit record after u pre stage will it let u stage without starting the recording?
It probably would....I always light the top bulb before I hit the record button.

What windshield mount are you using?
Just a generic one from best buy for 15 bucks. It's just a suction cup with a spring loaded clamp for the phone.
Can/how I sync video from gopro/insta go2 with dragy?
You would need a video editing program. I use Win Movie Maker to paste the clips together, but it's kind of a pain and time consuming.

how do u get the draggy audio to tell u the speed when it finish record. cause im not hearing the draggy audio on mine
You have to have your phone volume up when you are making the run. The voice happens while you are driving, not during the export to video process.

Are you checking the boxes before you hit export button?
@KenKyleRacing the boxes, don't show up on the export page. I get times on the video when it is recording, though.

Mine did not imbed the display after export. I held the phone up straight, not horizontal. Is this the reason why?
I doubt it cuz I have done it both ways and it worked with mine. Some phones are kind of buggy with dragy.

@@heronthere just know if you do that all your prior runs will be lost. Don't think there is a way to back date up.

What is the green icon in the lower right corner on your recorded run?
Never paid attention to it before, but now that you mentioned it, I watched the video about 5 times trying to figure it out. It looks like the circle is moving and it is some type of representation of the length of the video. The circle starts at one end of the line and by the end of the video it is at the other end. What purpose it serves tho, I dunno...

Is it possible to record custom times like that? I tried it, added 80-120km/h on it, but it didn't show anything within those speeds when I hit the record button. It took the video, but no timers are shown when I export it like you did 🤔
Not that I have found. It does the built in ones, like for mph it has 60-130 built in, but you don't have to select it specifically, just run 60-130 mph and it will record your time for that.
@@KenKyleRacing Yeah it seemed to record default ones just fine. Kinda sucks if it won't be able to get custom ones on video tho 😔

@@KenKyleRacing I think we're all waiting for that update! Im struggling to export vids...the export circle is incredibly slow and once a video does export...nothing (laptop or phone) can view the video.
I seem a video somewhere a female voice call off the 0 to 30 0 to 60 and quater mile as u accomplished each task how u make the female talk
