As Alfred once told Bruce, we fall so that we can learn to get back up. Mountain biking is an inherently dangerous sport, but this year alone I seemed to amass a lifetime worth of crashes. Not only did I wreck more than I ever have, but I also feel that I have ridden the most challenging terrain and progressed more than in any previous year. As I have said before and will say again, in mountain biking, if you are not crashing every now and then, you probably aren't riding hard enough!
Crashes suck, but they are a part of the game we play. I'd like to thank all of my Subscribers, Patrons, and friends for sticking with me through it all. All of the positivity in the community on this channel fuels me with motivation to push through the bad crashes and injuries. Each time I fall and get back up I only get stronger, and you better believe I'm going to be back and stronger than ever this year!
P.S. This video was super cringe worthy to make, as many of these crashes are recent, and I am still recovering from the shoulder dislocation. However, I enjoy the idea that my pain can become someone else's pleasure. So without further ado, please enjoy my 2016 MTB crash reel.
