Shreya Virinchipuram’s Unique Arangetram: Kalyani Varnam - Performance Highlights

Dear all,
In July of 2023, Shreya Virinchipuram celebrated the culmination of her 12-year musical journey with Tapasya in an intimate recital at “The Artery” alongside some of the most renowned artists of our time-RK Shriram Kumar Anna, Delhi Sairam Anna, and Anirudh Athreya. Shreya’s unique request was that I join her on stage, an invitation I was happy to accept. Shreya isn't just my longest-standing student; she's also one of the most dedicated and hardworking. It’s pretty amazing that she's been with me for 12 years, through all the changes in my musical style and personal growth, and has always been incredibly supportive. Parental support is crucial for any artist, and Shreya's parents have been exemplary in this regard. Special thanks to the senior artists for their encouragement and presence. Also, a big shout-out to the audio and video crew for capturing this beautiful event so perfectly.
