DUI isn't what it used to be. I'm actually very disappointed with them now. My suit was sent in and I haven't seen it in 3 months. That's some really slow service. Plus when I called, the person over the phone was rude. As an instructor, I have pushed and promoted DUi for almost 20 years. I'm afraid I can't do that anymore. DUI doesn't really stand behind their products. Of course with a lot of management changes in the past 5 years, I'm not surprised. DUI installed a chest valve that was cracked but they didn't care. How do I know it was cracked at the factory, well when it was unscrewed, there was cocking in the crack all the way through on both sides. Obviously the only way to have cocking all the way through and dry on both sides is for the valve to have been installed cracked with fresh cocking. But they don't warranty things like that. Obviously it didn't crack later and then dry cocking work it's way into the crack on through to the other side. I guess they expect you to unscrew and unseal the valve as soon as you receive your new suit so it's still under warranty if there is a cracked part. The people on the phone are rude, service is extremely slow and the cost of repairs will just about buy you a new suit now. DUI isn't what they claim to be any more. When owned and operated by Susan Long and ran by Faith Ortins, it was an amazing company but it has gone down hill since.
