I just finished this painting. I've done about 6 paintings following along with your videos, and they always turn out great! This one was definitely harder than I thought it would be!
The tricky part was making sure the sky is bright enough and the mountains are dark enough. I used Pthalo blue, which is tricky to work with because it's so transparent. It also doesn't make a nice turquoise colour, so I use a touch of Pthalo green for that (in the background). I just thought I'd mention this in case anyone else is painting along.

Could you tell about your colors, how are they not drying out during mixing and painting? Do you use some drying retardant? It's a bit a problem for me, because acrylic colors are drying very fast and pianting with them requires speed. Thank you for amazing tutorials.

Christy during the making of this video John added music because the typhoon that struck his town was closing in, he said a few times that it's raining very hard, you can hear the rain hitting his roof...that's why he added music ...he tried to take the sound of rain pounding on his house out..
You can hear John is also worried here from the rain as they didn't know how bad the storm was going to be. It hit after the making of this video taking out his community....
It was 2 am when he painted this just to keep his schedule going to post a video!!!

I do want to make a critique;
I am wondering if it would be better if just the top of the house and only a portion of the large pine should be reflected. I think the small pines are too far back to be reflected.
would have really set it off if you had done light rays showing facing the red door and forground a bit..

It’s so beautiful just look at the shade of the house. The moon is not directly behind the house is to the left and up so the house shade should be a little bit to the right, not straight under. I think just my five. Cents.
casted shadow or shade is different from water reflections... reflections will always straight under from the object. shadow and shade are just part where it have no the light.
