- Rotting Christ "Offensive to God" is a troll tribute song/video against organised religions and the fanatic religious protesters that tried to stop Rotting Christ perform in some parts of the world. Those protests caused cancellations of shows, or forced the band to perform with different name to avoid cancellation and also got them arrested in Georgia due to the their offensive to God name and marked as "dangerous people" to the country!
In this video all of you will see, listen and make your own choice: serve in heaven or rule in hell!
Song that was mixed with the fanatic religious protesting is called: "We...The Fallen Angels" from Sakis Tolis of Rotting Christ solo album called "Among the Fires of Hell"

Αν θέλεις άκου αύριο το βίντεο το τι λέει και από κει και πέρα ο καθένας μπορεί να βγάλει τα συμπεράσματά του για το αν γίνεται στον φανατισμό πλύση εγκεφάλου ή οχι.

If you follow a spiritual path and you are sure of that, whatever it is, you don't get offended by anything. I say it as a Christian who is also a metalhead.
Usually fanaticism goes hand in hand with lack of knowledge and real practise of that particular faith.

The fanatical zealotry of those ideologies are responsible for the greatest amount of human death than all religious wars in recorded history combined. Those ideologies are secular. And don't get that protester guy mixed up with the rest of conservatives. Most conservatives might not like the name of the band, but they will defend their right to play as most conservatives defend classical liberalism which is where the reverence of free speech is founded.

The name Rotting Christ actually has a duality to me.I myself am a fan of the music & respect most musical art forms as a form of expression. Words are only words to express a storyline of experiences. I also in the same light am spiritual in the ways of my Lord. When I hear the name Rotting Christ it reflects the people who claim Christ and treat others un-Christ like. So in essence it’s all perspective vs perception. Keep doing what you do with your music. Music has saved my life many times and to be totally honest with you there are much worse musicians accepted by society & culture who do more harm to our evolution as people then metal.

I despise when people say "be respectful to christians" or when christians whine about being disrespected. The fact is, christians call all other beliefs 'satanic' and 'evil'... their disrespect to non-believers is immeasurable. It's only in the last few hundred years we have been to have an honest conversation about their bs without being seriously harmed in some way. Anything which offends them should be protected and cherished.

I’m going to have to politely disagree with you on that one if we’re being objective. Have religious people contributed to the suffering around the world? Yes absolutely. Religious Inquisition in Spain is one of them. Even today the anti-LGBTQ movements are rooted in religion.
However it cannot be denied that religious people have also contributed to the world as well including many humanitarian efforts and even the sciences too.

Well, when Sakis have come to Xanthi, as Sakis Tolis band, the metropolitan of Xanthi stirred up the "faithful" in protest, so that the concert would not take place. He even tried to convince the managers of the concert venue , to cancel the event. This lasted for 2 days and there was quite a commotion in Xanthi. The only thing they managed was to gather there in a small place, about 500 people that was packed, to enjoy Sakis masterpieces! Hail Brothers!

Where was this guy? The first scene is in New York city at the Gramercy but not sure if the guy protesting was there or another US city. I was there relatively early at the Gramercy that day and saw nothing.

I've met REAL true Christians. Baptists too. They're very loving and accepting. REAL religious people are usually pretty chill and accepting. Dare I even say it, open minded. Why? I've had some of my best religious debates/conversations with genuinely good religious people. Like, VERY religious. But they practice what they preach, unlike most others. (They think things like metal music being "Satanic" and gays going to helI is nonsense, and it's the people that have twisted those words)
Civil debates. They see my points, I see theirs! They do not pass judgement. They know it's not their place.
Sadly, they are the actual genuine minority in their OWN religions.

@@SessmaruKusanagiGaming The band has 15 albums so far, each album has different feeling, some more Heavy Metal, others more Gothic, more Epic, more Black etc but all have the same roots...the heart and spirit of the main composer of the band Sakis Tolis. I suggest you to check out from the more recent albums and gradually go back in time with their discography. The latest album is called "Pro Xristou" which means Before Christ, an epic melodic album which will take you back in time before and during the forced Christianisation of Europe! Then "The Heretics" album hailing the spiritual people that was accused and suffered as heretics from the church. For Gothic melodic Metal style the album "Sleep of The Angels". "Rituals" for very dark atmospheric sound! That's for start and i hope you'll find something that will speak to your soul!

I’m a Christ follower but I’m also a fan of Rotting Christ. Nowhere does it say that I have to insulate myself from the world. The biggest detriment to what Christ intended are these self righteous religious nuts that yield their faith like a 10 foot sword while ignoring their own shortcomings.

The religious right, who often complains how people are easily offended by everything, sure are being offended by a band with that name.
Maybe there wouldn't be such band names in metal if Christian hegemony didn't sink its claws into most of the world and disrespect those who weren't like them. I suppose especially in Greece (correct me if I'm wrong, since I haven't been there in 15 years, but I am Greek-American and have observed how the Orthodox church influences all with the common ethnic roots)

Rotten because of followers. Not because music, movies or book. If these things are offensive, just avoid them. But religious + poliical persecution can destroy all.
