It is actually wrong at the end... Vishanu is not ultimate god. It is iskon temple knowledge.
Science says big bang happened when energy merged and collapsed then the universe created and we are made with that energy...
Lord Vishnu is just the part of way to get liberated of our soul and merge in this universe.

I loved the teachings especially the caste system & how it got corrupted over the time. I used to explain to my western friends what is caste system and even use to quote the Gerrman surnames like schuemaker or goldsmith in explaining the caste system which is prevalent in Europe. Nice explanation. I can say caste system is prevalent in modern western society where one can become a CEO or senior manager of a company and another can become a floor cleaner in the same company. Veda vyas is from dalit community of india.

Wonderful and quite a clear presentation . I enjoyed listening and learnt quite a bit. It will be nice if some aspects of yoga and vedanta are also included because they are in some sense universal beyond all names and forms . Gita is called yoga shastra - science of yoga. Krishna is called as yogeshwara too . Vedanta asserts and proves the eternal unity of all and also shows how to perceive this great liberating knowledge .

Compare top 3 religions Christianity Hinduism and Islamic Books
and their first page and first paragraph to see their authenticity, purpose and efficiency in language to convey message.
Bible First chapter “Genesis” The Beginning.
      1) In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. (Big bang ok)
      2) Now the earth was formless and empty (false, earth was round and ball of fire), darkness was over the surface of the deep (certified fake, earth was ball of fire no darkness), and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters (again fake, no water on first earth).
      3) And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. (Fake, no light without source or Sun)
      4) God saw that the light was good (God in advance should know, how should light be), and he separated the light from the darkness.
      5) God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” (Totally false 99% of space/heavens is always dark, only 1% has always light so, no day or night, But it is on planet earth).
Reason and Think, the God that created universe, don’t know how is universe so,
"""Bible is certified fake and not from God"""
Rig Ved. Chapter ""Agni"" the 🔥 Fire: (let’s see the chapter explains fire?)
      I) Laud Agni, the chosen Priest, God, minister of sacrifice, The hotar, lavishes of wealth.
(What is this trying to say ?)
      2) Worthy is Agni to be praised by living as by ancient seers.
He shall bring hitherward the Gods. (Meaningless)
      3) Through Agni man obtaineth wealth, yea, plenty waxing day by day,
Most rich in heroes, glorious. (Why the talk of wealth and dollars in first line ?)
Does first sentence made any sense ?
      4) And these types of sentence continue until end of Rig Ved, which are hard to analyze and understand.
      Who is saying this ??
Why He is saying this ??
No introduction of Book or Hinduism or God or person writing this, make this book senseless.
First line, he is talking of money/dollars why ?
First line talking of money, declares intention behind compilation and writer’s concern about money.
Think! What is the purpose of these sentences, what it means to us as humans, or to Creator of trillion of light years of universe God. These sentences cannot be understood by any and the purpose of God saying this totally unclear.
Clearly it is not from God, not even from a educated, learned man.
      """Senseless, meaningless, purposeless"""
and in an attempt to give sense and meaning to these senseless and meaningless sentences, one more book comes in existence Upanishads or Simrities, and until you understand this you cannot understand Vedas.

This is the reason, you will never find people teaching Hindu scripture and even Vedic scholars writing or giving reference from Vedas with number but only oral lectures prepared for TVs and UA-cam to fool and mis-represent the actual is meaningless, senseless, Sholaks, Mantras, Hymens.
Show a single Hindu lecture in which Sholaks or Mantar number is given ?
Quran, Chapter 1 ""The Preface or Preamble ""(the name itself declares the purpose of the chapter)
As you all know, what is preface to a book ?
Introduction of author, His education and Purpose of writing book.
We will see just first sentence, that has Intro to author God and His Power of organized creation are His degrees and education.
      الْحَمْدُ لِلَّـهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ 1:1
(Mind, only 4 words, let’s see them one by one)
      A) (الْحَمْدُ Al-Humdu) All the praises, raises, magnifications, all the certificates of merits, All the Nobel prizes, All the best awards.
      B) (لِلَّـهِ Lilaahi) Is for the Great creator of Universes, by His power (Named and meaning of Allah in Arabic),
      C) (رَبِّ Rabbil) who is Greatest Planner, Programmer, Designer, Protector, Guardian, Maintainer, Cherisher, Sustainer, Provider,
      D) (الْعَالَمِينَ Aalameen) of the entire universal system and the creation living in them.
Means: All the Top Awards are for Designer/Creator of universe, who is architect and guardian of entire creation. 1:1
So this was the intro of that Great God in his first line only 4 words.
It just explained a drop form sea or else, each word has libraries of explanation.
In first sentence or 4 words itself, the Greatest God described.
He is the Creator and created entire universe, and all creations living in them.
And is responsible for entire universal maintenance, security, protection and Powerful guardian.
So a single 4 word sentence has His intro, His name, His power and His authority.
The first sentence of only 4 words itself explain the power of Arabic language and purpose of selection Arabic by the Greatest God.
Now, the reader should decide what is genuine, true and authentic book and message from creator of universe to us humans.

In Hinduism, Brahman (/brəhmən/; ब्रह्मन्) connotes the highest Universal Principle, the Ultimate Reality in the universe. In major schools of Hindu philosophy it is the material, efficient, formal and final cause of all that exists. It is the pervasive, genderless, infinite, eternal truth and bliss which does not change, yet is the cause of all changes. Brahman as a metaphysical concept is the single binding unity behind the diversity in all that exists in the universe.
Not to be confused with Brahma - the Hindu god, Brahmana - a layer of text in the Vedas, Brahmanism - the religion, or Brahmin - the caste ('varna').

Every thing came from Veda [Say RIG VEDA]. It contains all the things that we studies in any University. It contains structure of atom, method of manufacture of rocket, generator principle, structure of Universe etc etc]. Most of the Nobel prices were given to those things which were in Vedas. But science is not easy of common man to understand. [ especially when time passes]. So they wrote it in story form in Puranas. Now the science terms in Vedas became characters in Puranas. Now all are going behind these stories and their characters. They failed to understand the science behind these Vedas and Purana's. So they covered it with the blanket of SPIRITUALITY. They taught others that Vedic mantras are spiritual VIBRATORS
I wrote 12 books named kaliyugapuranam [in Malayalam} which explains Veda Puranopanisheds mostly on the basis of modern science. But it is not possible for a single person to reveal such things to the public. Publishing it is not an easy task. It should be a joined effort.

Everybody mistaken the monism of Hinduism.
This material world is diverse. When you examine it closely you will find diverse material are three things PROTON, ELECTRON AND NEUTRON. That is Three Gunas our Rishis mentioned as Satwam,RAJAS AND THAMAS( neutron is dark particle). Then you deeply examine this particle you will come to know that really one thing .All matter is energy. Now there are two different thing Lifeless material and life force.
When you closely observe again. You will find that there are different type of energy ,all are interchangeable. One energy we can convert to another form using a suitable device
Light energy plant can convert to life force (consciousness) .So material world is consciousness itself. That is adwaitha of our RISHIS.
Even if everything is same in finest form. When you are thirsty you need water, Bread will not solve your thirst. Same way God is one. Enormous number of spiritual body having different healing powers is a reality. God need not require any offering .In Hinduism Nothing is offering to BRAHMAN. But we have to offer flower and other thing to Devi and devatas(Architype)Because they are living BEING like as who depend on BRAHMAN. But they are super powers and can solve our material problem. THIS IS THE TEACHING OF SREE NARAYANA GURU OF KERALA and ALL RISHIS OF INDIA. Everything in this world we are seeing is Midhya(not real) in past and future. Now I am seeing an apple in front of me .Presently it is real. When you search this apple in 10 years back, this apple was not present at 10 year back. If you search this apple after 10 year you will not get this apple. So apple is only real in present time. When you consider this universe, it was not same in the past. In future also it is not going to be same.
ONE THING THAT IS SAME IN THE FUTURE PRESENT AND PAST IS BRAHMAN (CONCIOUSNESS) ONLY. That is the essence of everything. SO BRAHMAN SATYAM JAGAT MIDHYA.(JAGAT IS NOT REAL ONY BRAHMAN REAL). Everything is real including cloud at present. For a wise world is sat because he is in the present. This is the teaching of Sree Narayana Guru
I born in Kerala (south India) a predominant Christian Area. At least Weekly one time some Christians coming to my home and asking Why you are worshipping IDOL. Do you think it will save you. Now I know that calling GOD by name. sound is one form of energy. I am worshipping Idol that is Manifested form of energy. SO both I and they are worshing same thing ,but different form of energy.
HINDU VEDA ADVICE IS THIS- If a truth is told by a child accept it. If an untruth is told by creator brahma reject it.This type of freedom I think no religion in the world is ever allowed

Hinduism is not about sati or ram or krishna or gods or, castes. Hinduism is about self realization of atma. Atma is a piece of bramh, the pervading energy in the universe. Remember energy can neither be destroyed or created but can be changed from one form to other. E=mc2. Read quantum physics texts and then read ved. Many questions quantum physics fails to explain and hits dead end ved is able to explain. Ved is experiential science not experimental science. Maya or prakruthi is physical universe created from bramh. E=mc2 explains how it is possible. Our body and mind are part of prakruthi and it can be mine but not me. Me is atma. Realization of it through 4 yogas described in ved, upanishads is what hinduism about. All other things in hinduism is to help average guy understand such complex topic of this creation detailed in ved and upanishads. Eg: rig ved is essentially blue print of creation of universe. Mandukya upanishads explains what an atma is. Gita explains all of these for an ordinary person to comprehend. As a neurologist i found explanation of body, mind, universe, life/death in Ved/Upanishad/Gita.

Hindus were and are the most intelligent and skillful people on Earth.
Vedic civilization gave to the world people with phenomenal memory who were and are able to remember whole books by heart after just reading them 1 time.
people who built temples from stone harder than granite with filigree carving long before Rome was founded, and this temples are still standing, and people still perform the same rites in this temples - just imagine Roman civilization was born, developed and died and Vedic civilization existed before and is still there.
They built the famous coloumn prom iron so pure that it doesnt rust - even modern engeneers cant do it NOW !!!!
There were warriors in Vedic society so skilled they were able to shoot targets just by hearing the sound with closed eyes.
And there are still people who can perform miracles like teleportation of objects from long distance to their hand - like this famous Sai Baba (who actually misused his power and tried to convince people he was God that is actally a sin, bt anyway he was powerful)

      sarva-loka-maheśvaram
      suhṛdaṁ sarva-bhūtānāṁ

"A person in full consciousness of Me, knowing Me to be the ultimate beneficiary of all sacrifices and austerities, the Supreme Lord of all planets and demigods, and the benefactor and well-wisher of all living entities, attains peace from the pangs of material miseries."
      Bg. 5.29

      eko mantras tasya nāmāni yāni
      karmāpy ekaṁ tasya devasya sevā
      (Gītā-māhātmya 7 by Adi Shankara)
In this present day, people are very much eager to have one scripture, one God, one religion and one occupation. Therefore, ekaṁ śāstraṁ devakī-putra-gītam: let there be one scripture only, one common scripture for the whole world - Bhagavad-gītā. Eko devo devakī-putra eva: let there be one God for the whole world - Śrī Kṛṣṇa. Eko mantras tasya nāmāni: and one hymn, one mantra, one prayer - the chanting of His name: Hare Kṛṣṇa, Hare Kṛṣṇa, Kṛṣṇa Kṛṣṇa, Hare Hare/ Hare Rāma, Hare Rāma, Rāma Rāma, Hare Hare. Karmāpy ekaṁ tasya devasya sevā: and let there be one work only - the service of the Supreme Personality of Godhead.

All of them appear on planets whenever there is a disturbance created by the atheists. The Lord incarnates to protect the theists."

Hindu Philosophy is that the infinite consciousness manifests in infinite forms and hence every energy, particle, material, being whether plant, tree, microbe or animal are its manifestations. In manifestation, the consciousness is limited and when that ignorance is gone and infinite consciousness is manifested in any being, it's called Moksha. Every one is accountable for their own actions in Mind, word and deed and will live the results now or later, hence the rebirth is explained and hence people are born with varying physical, social, economical limitations. You can get out of this circle through performing actions with detachment towards result, with full dedication towards actions.
All these can be perceived by any one who is strong at mind enough to peruse n number of paths described in Hinduism, you can even make another path for your own. It's an embodied experiential path and not like abrahamic religions which says results after death.
Read David Frawley and Arthur Avalon.

It is an inclusive everything within Hinduism are part of 5 elements earth (pritvi), water (jal), fire (tejas), wind (vayu) and space (akasha) to receive anybody, everybody (even small atom to big as ant/plants/animals/trees/men/women/???? etc - nonbeliever-atheist/ believer (not a book word to word stuck believer like all abrahamic

"After making a decision, the saintly persons and sages churned the thighs of the dead body of King Vena with great force and according to a specific method. As a result of this churning, a dwarflike person was born from King Vena’s body.
This person born from King Vena’s thighs was named Bāhuka, and his complexion was as black as a crow’s. All the limbs of his body were very short, his arms and legs were short, and his jaws were large. His nose was flat, his eyes were reddish, and his hair copper-colored.
He was very submissive and meek, and immediately after his birth he bowed down and inquired, “Sirs, what shall I do?” The great sages replied, “Please sit down [niṣīda].” Thus Niṣāda, the father of the Naiṣāda race, was born.
After his [Niṣāda’s] birth, he immediately took charge of all the resultant actions of King Vena’s sinful activities. As such, this Naiṣāda class are always engaged in sinful activities like stealing, plundering and hunting. Consequently they are only allowed to live in the hills and forests" (Srimad Bhagavatam 4, 14, 43-46).
    Scandinavian mythology
The gods of Asa and the gods of Vana reconciled, and as a sign of this they spat in one bowl,
Freya put her hand into the bowl and sculpted something that looked like a man - it was a dwarf. Hence the dwarf agreements.
They named him Kvaser. Much time passed, the dwarfs Fjaler and Kvaler made honey of poetry from his blood.

    Dear Krishna West in Germany,
Great work. I liked your video and the efforts you put understanding Hinduism/Sanatan Dharama.
But I would like to add that in scriptures it is mentioned that only "Kshotriya Bhrahmnisht"(the one who has attained the God) can explain the Spiritual Knowledge to conditioned souls like us. Bcoz scripture are huge and it will take many lifetimes to read them all. And many statements in them apparently seem contradictory. Ordinary human being including scholars in the field of scriptural studies are unable to reconcile these statements.

You can fully understand the goal of all Vedas even in this very lifetime by approaching authorized teachers and gurus. Lord Sri Krishna says in Bhagavad-gita that He is the goal of all Vedas (Bg. 15.15). You can fully realize that supreme goal by approaching authorized teachers in a guru-parampara. I strongly recommend the Bhagavad-gita edition by A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, the most spread edition worldwide, recognized by important scholars of many international universities. Swami Prabhupada belong to an authorized Vaishnava guru-parampara.

    Wrong knowledge at the end.
    But how vishanu came?
Actually There is Brahman. The pure energy like big bang happened...
Brahman created Universe in which Brahma, Vishanu, Shiva comes... Brahman is Univers and no one is bigger than that Pure form of energy even Vishanu cames from that pure energy and we are too.. we are Universe, we are brahman, we are brahma, vishanu, Shiva that is why we say everything has god in themselves and that is why we say namaste...
We are equal to the Lord Vishnu, Shiva, and Brahma. Our priority is to get liberated from the circle of Brahma(the creator), Visha(the preserver), and Shiva(the destroyer) and merge in the pure form of energy which is called Brahman/Universe.

Bhraman is not god is the universe which was created. Bhrama was created by Vishnu from his navel and that lord Shiva originated from the eyebrows of the lord Vishnu

+Namit Raturi , namaste means na = not, ma = me, (but) te = you, that means "No respect for me, but for you". Sanskrit is much more sophisticated than we think.

Actually namaste word lil bit disrespectful if used for elders or any one you respect....in sanskit, there are two words to greet"namaskaar or namaskaaram" and other is "namaste". Namaskaar is used for people elder than you or people you want to give respect...namaste is used for people younger than you and for people that are much more frank to you....in english "you" is used for everyone, but sanskrit is lil bit complicated

There were two main groups of Hindu devotees Vaishnava and Shaivas devoted to Vishnu and Shiva respectively. This person's Guru must have been a Vaishnava... that's why he tried to put Vaishnava above all casts and Vishnu above other Gods. As far as I know Trimurtis (Brahma,Vishnu,Shiva) are equally important.

'Language' by definition has 'written' and 'spoken' component, later part originated at least 50 to 60 K years before from later per objective scientific evidence (based on current evolutionary genetic data, and these data are being revised on constant basis in last decade since its inception, with citations claiming that spoken language may have appeared right at the origin of hominid species which can easily be traced back to 200-300 k BC).
Hinduism/vedic religion/sanatan dharma civilization was initially propagated by scholars using spoken language only. Written part of it came much much later.
Out of all the deities, Shiva/Vishnu/ Brahma are primary ones *so called trimurti') while supreme is only one: Brahman. Formers are only creator/perpetuator/destroyer of shristi (Brahman aka 'conscious' universe).
By the way, so called hominids (modern humans) are not the sole supremo as our tiny brain may want to think. Brahman manifest as many forms of 'consciousness': humans are only a tiny fraction of it when u compare it on a grand scale of 'Yuga' (modern science call it 'age of universe since its inception'. In fact 'universe itself is a conscious entity making the universe as one the many manifestation of Brahman.
Hinduism/Vedic religion doesnot tell you to 'worship' any god, it only wants us to 'discover the truth by yourself: through meditation, atma chintan, education, devotion etc etc. You are free to chose any of the path either through religion or without it, as long you are looking to seek the ultimate truth you are following vedic dharma. Hindusim doesnot invite you to 'JOIN' it, its only an illustration of many paths that will lead you to reach the goal of finding the ultimate truth. Following any deity (out of several thousand) is also just a mean of finding that ultimate truth, however if u read the original vedic scripts, It allows an individual to gain the knowledge WITHOUT following any deity, in this case you yourself will be a god (kan-kan me bhagwan base hai, moke kaha dhoondhe re bande< translation: where are you trying to find me? I am everywhere including the tiniest particle). Do you know that you can find 'each and every component of the universe inside one one atom including the evidence of big bang'?
As you can comprehend, describing or discovering the ultimate truth behind 'consciousness' is rather a complex journey, so Hinduism scholars (called Rishi-Muni) came up many stories where the path was shown to folks in common man words of understanding. In fact in current academic reasearch insitutions, it has been shown that easiest way of learning ANYTHING COMPLEX is to fraction ate those ideas in simple ideas (and stories are a simple way of doing the same when the facts of vedic religion are being tought to its follower through different stories of incarnations of Brahman/consciousness/god)
    Om Shanti...

What are so called "Holy Hindu Scriptures"?
The blunder books, irresponsible books, Confused Books, designed by very clever commercial minds, politically aware minds, who understand the use of religion for commercial and political benefits.
Whose whole intention it to gather and attract the Crowds in name of God and make living "Note and Vote" out of it and corrupted nation for it.
And the Community that masters this art of fooling peoples in name of religion are Jews and their brothers Brahmins.
All the people in name of religion from oldest Hinduism (nameless), Jewism to Christianity are busy to gather the crowds and make commercial and political benefits, in name of religion/God,
following the conspiracy created by them.
All the Popes, Pastures and Pundits understand what I'm saying.
There not even a single, authentic, "dictated" word by God, is stored in their stocks/Scriptures.
Note, When God dictates anything, He does with that with responsibility and authority.
Note, When God dictates anything, it is short, precise and in perfect commanding grammar.
Note, When God dictates His command, the grammar is first degree, as you are talking to God personally and God talking to you, with interactive pronouns you, me, your, mine, we, ask them, say to them and they question ?
And to retaliate to Jewish and Hindu conspiracy of fooling in name of religion,
God responds Personally from skies by first word “”READ !”” 96:1
      Read (Educate Yourself, Reason, Think)!
There is only One Creator, that created organized and maintain entire universe. 96:1
And that Creator created Man with “”power of communication and connection”. 96:2
And that creator does not entertain intermediate in between. 96:3
If you feel, what is being told by me is wrong, then collect/read, very first paragraph of every book you trust and understand how irresponsible it is, to define
      1) Its purpose of writing (Preface)
      2) How irresponsible your book is to define God and
      3) How irresponsible and lame the book is, to define God’s purpose of creation?
If you felt that, now come to the true and authentic message of you creator, who himself named it Quran (A grand invitation, to ultimate education).
Note: Until you go by those books, you cannot understand the completeness and perfection in Quran.
Word Quran is from the root word "Iqh'ra" (Read/Educate/Explore) of Arabic and the very first word/message revealed by Creator of universe to humanity.
You cannot reach God until you educate yourself and explore universe.
Quran means ""A invitation Grand to education and exploration of nature and book itself by the Creator of universe""
Note: Any religion that call its people to blind and superstitious believe, by compiling superstitious (non scientific) stories, and magic in name of miracle, is clear deception, with hidden motive behind.
And anti-dote for this deception is education, the awareness.
Because these religion don’t have logic and science to support them , so they hijack mind by tricks and deception and sole moto behind this is to fool you and rule you,
rule your pocket and take your vote.
Where as Islam (the obedience) starts with first word Education and Science.
Read (Iqra) and Obedience (Islam) the combination means, think who created you and maintaining you ?
Just be thankful to Him, that is be His obedient (Muslim).
      What is Quran?
A very responsible, perfectly arranges, totally convincing messages from the Architect of Universe, to His Created intelligent creation called "man",
A very responsible, perfectly arranges, totally convincing messages to connect man to his Creator, the dialogue between Creator and His only intelligent creation called "man"
A very responsible, perfectly arranges, totally convincing messages, starting right from the very first sentence, until the last sentence and every sentence of it has totally convincing messages, to explain the purpose of creation.
A very responsible, perfectly arranges, totally convincing messages, for every first time readers, to repeated readers.
Let's us see, what is the very first sentence of this Responsible messages / book, form Creator of universe says.
The very first sentence/message dictated by Creator of universe
      1) Read (Educate yourself)!
      Read (Explore universe)!
      Read (Be civilized)!
Read! With the name of planner, programmer, designer, architect of universe, He is the One, Who created/creates everything (with perfection and beauty).
This is the first verse and first message declaring:
      A) Nothing happens on its own.
      B) Creation is very scientific and sophisticated process, either it be of an Ant or a Star,
It requires huge planning, programming and energy first to created matter.
Then designing and organizing that matter, to complete Creation 49:20.
Please check this reference and satisfy yourself.
And the second important message on purpose of creation of humans continues as
      1) He is the One, Who designed, architected man "Human" (connected as, communicating, sharing, helping, loving, caring)
Thus a single sentence, explaining purpose of creating of man, differentiating and raising man from entire creation, because of this quality of connecting.
And the responsible book and message of God continues....

God created the universe from out of his superconsciousness (think of supernovas) and everything will one day ultimately dissolve back into his superconsciousness (think of black-holes where galaxies and all matter gets sucked into nothingness) and the cosmic cycle repeats endlessly. The universe exists from nothingness to nothingness as what even Quantum Physics tells us today. The universe therefore exists in endless cosmic cycles. In fact, the sages say we are now in the 84th cosmic cycle.
God is pure, unconditional love. He has no favourites. All souls are equal before him. Only humans discriminate against humans because of EGO i.e. because of being clothed in matter. Matter is made of atoms which cling to each other which results in the sense of 'I' ness' or ego (attachment to matter). God does not discriminate between souls because he is the universal superconsciousness (universal soul) and we souls are individual consciousness. Our consciousness can relate to or feel God's superconsciousness when we are in the soul state, without a material body. Souls can therefore 'feel' God's existence as immanent love or his infinite loving 'embrace' as being everywhere. This is only when we are in the spiritual world where all communication between God and souls and communication between souls is instantaneous at the speed of thought..
It is difficult for Muslims to grasp the above concepts because Islamic philosophy is based on 'believer and non-believer' and on ego(attachment to matter) that only my belief is correct and not on seeking the truth within us. One must think or meditate at soul level. Overcome or cross out the 'I' to see the universality of everything and God's infinite love for all souls. God created the universe because creation is his nature and the reason for creation is because of LOVE for all souls to have a material medium to experience and realize him. Otherwise the souls will be in a state of limbo. Love all. Serve al

There is no concept of 'god" which is totally disconnected from the universe after creating it out of thin air using a magic wand in hindu/vedic tradition.. Because there is nothing other than the conscious divine + energy (also called Shiva + Shakthi). Microcosm = Macrocosm. It also means "Tat Tvam Asi" - You (conscious and immanent athma) are (already) that (conscious, transcendent and omnipresent divine) regardless of whether you realize it or not because without the conscious and immanent athma or divine nothing can exist. False identification with thoughts and body is just an illusion due to 5 senses experienced by the athma even though it is NOT the doer.

Rachna Singh. In Hinduism God means the supreme Brahman (om ) one without a second all pervading omnipresent pure consciousness which has no name or form from which the trinity Brahma, Vishnu and Siva exist and they always meditate upon the supreme Brahman (om). Brahma Vishnu and Siva are devathas (not God ) and equal importance and path to supreme God Brahman (om). Hindus believe only in one God called Brahman (om) and all others are only devathas (deities ) and not God.

It has to be born in mind that the historical context in which this statement was made was when Indian people were not aware of other religions like Christianity and Islam. but were only aware of other Indian religions i.e. dharmic religions which shared the same ideals. They probably would not have agreed with Abrahamic religions and may have even called them adharma.

    • @geographybynirmalendu8444

nirmalendu nirmal I don't think the Indians would have thought Mayan or Aztec religion, which included mass human sacrifice as "dharma" In fact they called them "Danavas" a branch of Asura dharma which is adharma from Dharmic point of view. In the Gita materialists and atheists are also called adharma and Asura. Thus, clearly Indian people did not not regard all religions as equal, they did have a concept of bad religions. I doubt they would have considered Judaism and Islam as dharma.

MrWarriorspirit killing innocent is also adharma like not doing karma. there are many more adharma.and what Hinduism is to do with being pro and anti .it includes everything acceptable but in right frame of reference. look friends text without context is meaningless.and world "s oldest religion Hinduism may have not contemporary religion to be compared with as it already says DT all religions are equally true and valid path to reach the same god

    • @MrWarriorspirit
      @MrWarriorspirit 8 років тому

I think you just dodged the point was I making. It says sarva dharma sambhav from the dharmic context, that is Indian religions. It is a stretch to expand that reference to all religions outside of India. Like I already told you some religions clearly were not considered dharma, like Mayan and Aztec religion and even atheism and materialism was considered adharmic. In the same vain the God of the Jews would also not have been considered dharmic, as this God is a jealous God who demands human sacrifices and commands genocides. Similarly, the god of the Muslims who hates all infidels and is founded by a man who marries a 9 year old and kills in cold blood all infidels and teaches a doctrine of hatred against all non believers would not be considered dharmic.

I always say if the Buddha had been born in Christian or muslim lands he would have been branded a heretic and tortured to death. His writings burnt, his followers killed, there would be no such thing as Buddhism today!
That is why from these two lands, we see only one religion each - these are not democratic religions - they view God as a Master - a slave may serve only one master, hence the One God. "Master will give us the good life in heaven, we must obey the master, all other "masters" must be hated - hence the threats of hell directed at followers of other religions
Hindus view God more as a Parent/Teacher - one can have many teachers - hence the many "Gods" in Hinduism. It is a democratic faith - hence the tolerance of other ideas - not just the Buddha but other religions like Sikhism, Jainism also were allowed to freely preach their ideas
Hinduism remains the only religion that asks us to come back - almost all other religions on this planet have created magic lands of plenty in the sky, Sugar Daddy Gods that have nothing better to do than cater to their followers and keep them in nice comfort - yep, just like real life, indeed - Hinduism alone asks us to go the other way
It is like the Boston Bombing - as soon as it happened - everyone near the blast started running away - just a few stayed - a doctor, perhaps, realizing the need for her to stay and attend to the injured and dying. The police, firefighters - all started running towards the tragedy - that is exactly what Hinduism is preaching
Other religions offer Joy and Happiness - Hinduism offers Pain and Suffering. Life teaches us that the latter is the right choice - something that the Buddha did not seem to realize. The Buddha preached Buddhism but followed Hinduism

This is absolutely true, In India ,In Sanatan Dharma, we respect different views, therefore Buddhism, Jainism, Sikhism were born and thrived in the world.

@@nehakhanapurkar2231 Yes because for us, God is a Parent, a Teacher
No Parent would set his own children apart
No parent would torture/rape his own daughters in hell
No parent would be proud to say his Children FEAR him
A Teacher wants us to learn, to be enlightened and that means many Teachers. In life we have had many teachers, not just one
Christianity & Islam are Master/Slave religions. They view God as a Master - they are slaves down on their knees, swearing loyalty(belief) & obedience, shaking with Fear, begging for his mercy
"Fear of God" common in Christianity/Islam, no Hindu would utter such words
A slave may serve only One Master - hence the One God
Religions like these use this slave mentality to push conversions - "you get heaven only if you are loyal to this master" and then they preach hatred against everyone else
Sadly, such religions remain the dominant ones in the 21st century
The western media and educated seem brainwashed by these religions - they ignore the hate that these religions preach
Another factor is our silence - our failure to speak up
