Great quality presentation and fabulous interview love peace joy and happiness forever empress you are certainly bless and among the very best this man is a a all inclusive music extraordinaire
i remember seeing BOB at miami int. airport in the 90s and going up to him to shake is hand , a warm humble genius he was , this is a great interview by the empress , but was limited by her personal experiences , those like me who grew up in the basement parties in 60s london to the dance halls in 70s 80s kingston , the songs referenced in this interview are international hits , BOB'S legendary status came from the dance halls , where angels fear to tread , with songs like GOING HOME and TOO EXPERENCE , and the classics he wrote for MARCIA , LONELY LIFE , TELL ME NOW , to name a few .
Great interview Empress, it's like opening a vintage bottle of fine wine interviewing the legendary Bob Andy..such an intelligent, articulate eliquent man with so much history about JAMAICAN music...good job Empress, you are the best.🤗🤗
Give thanks..... Empress, wonderful show, I could write many, many words to express the feeling in my heart on what it means to be able to experience your heartfelt , and very incitful, informative, interviews with these amazing world changing musicians. I just want to say I am a "whiteman" lol 50 yrs. of age. What I'd like to express to all of them. Their music changed my life, led me to God, taught me to love, live, and live and let live. To plant and to grow, not only plants and food, but also seeds of Truth that I can sew....for the little children, and even some old children.😃 So Empress, keep up the good work, cause there is more ground to take back ina disa battle. (my Jamaican voice)lol.. I was just 16 when I had a cassette tape of The Wailers, it started with Soul Shakedown Party, Go Tell it on The Mountain, Caution....etc. It led me to the path of Truth, which led me to Faith... One last thing, it's been beautiful to see how from the beginning of Jamaican Music, To watch how all my favorite artists and some I'm still learning about, The History, The Story of Reggae and how it really changed, people, governments, and Life itself.... What a beautiful story I was able to witness as they grew older, and still making music.... THANK YOU EMPRESS, THANK YOU ARTISTS!!!!!! ONE LOVE.........JAH LIVE........
the most important piece of music ,,,, too feel this song still around same impact ....i remember the faces of youth singing along and the belief that there was hope is something ill never ever forget......thank you ....
I totally agree wid Bob regarding Jacki Mittoo. I knew him(Jacki) from his school days at KC as NorrisWeir was also a KC boy . Bob was and is up to now still a great writer.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
On another level empress is one of the most beautiful woman I have ever seen ,and I have seen a lot of women because I have traveled to lot of different countries all over the world.
I love this interview with Bob. I am just somewhat disappointed with the distracting background sound. Not the sounds themselves but the volume at which they disturbed my clearly hearing the program. May i suggest that in the future, If background music is desired, that it be at a significantly lower volume than in this interview. One Love!
