Nice videography and music! I noticed some Farady at the ends of the spokes on one of the wheels as you began spraying. When you finished spraying, it was gone. Could you comment on how you concentrate on these areas to overcome this effect.
George Burns would also like to have that explained. I battle with this and I’m not using a hobby gun any more.
Yeah I will have to do it in another video probably.- Its just a matter of getting most of the area covered, then dropping KV and upping PSI a little to direct powder into those areas

Hey, I usually see you hanging wheeks from the valve stem hole but I see yiu hanging from the center in this vid. I'm building a larger oven myself so I can also do wheels and can decide how I want to hang the wheels which will affect the dimensions of my oven. Would you mind offering some insight or advice? Thanks, great channel thanks for sharing!
I hang wheels one of two ways, sometimes its color specific or specific to the design of the wheel. Shouldnt effect how you build your oven though

I watch all your videos love the results you get. Looking to start powder coating alloy wheels in the uk. What powder coating system would you recommend to get professional results but not break the bank at the same time.

Unknown Coatings what make system is it you have? Was looking at spending about £1000 but could go a bit more. I also need an oven and blasting cabinet and possibly a booth.

Does the 10 min start when the parts is at 400 or when you the oven gets to 400 im Trying Prismatic powders Chrome 3 And it turns a dull grey and not more Chrome ??
When the part reaches temperature
With the clear vision do you let the wheel cool off to room temp or hot coat 150-250*?

Great video. Does lowering the voltage 5kv really make a difference on the second coat?
i typically just follow the recommendations from the supplier. I cant imagine its a HUGE difference honestly.
Unknown Coatings I thought it was usual practice to lower the kv for additional coats.
Beautiful color man. So if you see my videos I put powder on thin I feel because I’m worried about putting it on way to thick and getting orange peel. Watching you I feel you put it on thicker. Should I do mine thicker do you think? Or I’m I doing ok. It just looks like after watching u I’m way to thin
I will have to check em out. You could always get a meter to check it? Mil thickness gauge.

high kv increases the chance of back ionization. Also the 55kv recommendation is direct from the manufacturer (in this case, @Prismaticpowders )

Put vinegar on it, if it bubbles, its magnesium
