I love these movies but try to tell that to these young people. They don’t even know what a good movie is. Nowadays, not even Hollywood knows or care about making a great movie. All they care about is movies that are trash full of foul language, violence, and nudity. Nonetheless, I still love these movies and I don’t think that’s ever going to change. Even my Stepdaughters love them. My wife used to hate them but She’s starting to come around. Especially when she’s able to tell the difference between good writing and dirty foul language.
I just watched this movie as well as the other (1942) Milton Berle movie "Whispering Ghosts" here on You Tube "Joey Hambrick" and enjoyed both and I will be listening to your Podcast here also. Thanks for the postings.

My vaudeville Grandma bedded Uncle Miltie, who was hung like a horse, and from her admiration coded named my mom after him.

So your grandma was a ho? I guess some people like to brag.
He was known for that!
Berle way overrated
Perhaps. Cross-dressing comedians appeal to a certain audience and I’m not included among them.
