Yesss! this is almost the exact yardman snowblower I did my first repair on so much fun and crazy to see how much ive learned since then. Also I bought that honda mower and blower and weedwacker from you a few weeks ago. Already got everything all back in action! Started filming some videos on some generators ive picked up to start up a channel with. Ill keep ya posted but great to see a new vid from ya!
Great to hear from you! Glad to hear that you got all those things going again. I recently got a mini bike for my son and need to check out some of your vids again. 😄
This one is more my speed. I keep thinking that if i take the whole carburetor off, i won't know how to put it back together! 😫 My snowblower isn't too old. I just didn't use any stabil last season.. And seafoam didn't get her going this time. Probably the Jets are all bunged up! Thanks again!
Give it a try, it’s not too bad and this works for me very often. I’ve got a snowblower repair playlist with other similar repairs using different methods. You could use those as additional points of reference if needed.
Nice to see a video from you. That was a great fix. Those were a good old machine. Not top quality, but worked good and got the job done. Reasonable to work on too. Have a good day Hanns.
engine looks just like mine, which wouldnt start, i emptied the float bowl, i assume it had water in it because it fired right up after. different machine but same motor.
Hi, I hava craftsman 2 1993 track drive, with the track lock shifter on the side same as this yardman built on Husqvarna chassis, does your track shifter do anything from when you shift it from wet packed snow to normal? please do a video on that It would really help me out, as mine doesn't do anything and when I shift it to transport mode with the machine running it goes from transport back to normal on its own, any help is greatly appreciated thankyou, excellent video keep up the great work. I will sub your channel.
Typically when the float needs adjusted you’ll have some sort of running problem most of the time. If the jets really look clean, you could try taking the carb apart and just letting it soak in carburetor cleaner (you can get a 1 gallon can from auto parts stores) overnight. Another option is just replace the carb. There are cheap aftermarket options for these available online. I have a company that sent me one that I’m going to make a video of the installation of that soon. Sometimes they can be so cheap to replace that it’s almost not worth the time to troubleshoot the old one when the problem isn’t obvious.

I like using torch tips to clean jets. It is nice to have different sizes on hand
I will have to try this next. I always forget about this option for some reason.

Nice video about carburetor cleaning. Helpful tips.
Thanks, I will be posting a video of replacing the carburetor with a new one from your company soon

Hey Hans! Long time no see.

I have this model, but it bogs down in heavy snow. The jets look clean. Could it be the float needs to be adjusted? Thanks!

👍👍
All you did was cut and reinstall primer line, fixed.
The jets were the issue. The primer line was an inconvenience.
I'm not a fan of these Tecumseh engines or carbs. Especially the non adjustable type. Looks like you lucked out doesn't even surge!!
