Man I grew up fishing this way,our people didn't need fancy equipment to go fishing, we been doing it this way for hundreds of years! Nothing like turnip greens and white perch,my daddys favorite fish!
Mr Fennell....THANK YOU!!! First of all, you just need the right break and you'll have your own travel channel show - or maybe something even better. You were gifted with a FANTASTIC voice, and your screen presence is exceptional. BUT...the best part was the lifestyle you so wonderfully showed us! It's a lifestyle I know so well. Born and raised and still live in the great state of Mississippi, and Mr. Colin does things exactly like my dad. The memories are too many to count, but making our own poles, digging our own worms (or even seining a small pond for panfish bait), walking to the pond or creek, catching a "mess" of bluegill bream, and then cooking them up for the family...all that was part of so many of those recollections. Thanks for a great trip down memory lane!

These guys are setting a great example regarding community! Thank you gentlemen!
Our pleasure!
Cool video. Reminds me of fishing with my Grandma Margaret Adams and my Uncle Charles Adams when I was a little kid. They've went on to eternal rest with the Lord. I'm still a fishing fool and when I die I'll be a dead fishing fool. God bless you and your crew for sharing a beautiful country memory..
Thanks Jake for the kind words. We are trying to make this happen. I'll tell Colon what you said too. We appreciate the support. Hey, subscribe to my channel for more videos ok

Now that's what I call 'Living the life'.. As God had always intended! Thank you for sharing this great video with your friend and brotherhood community as it could easily be a typical scene in many small towns & villages all around the world. It confirms that we all continue to embrace the human spirit of community & friendship no matter where you are on the planet. That what truly matters in life are the really simple things that we can all achieve in really simple ways. God bless you guys.. And God bless America..

I grew up catching night crawlers. My father would take us out at night after a good rain. We'd catch so many that we kept them in the frig. Then we'd go fishing and have a great time catching fish. He taught us to clean, cook fish. Great memories of my Dad.
Art,
I rarely make comments, but this is my new favorite channel. What’s great about your channel is how the boys get to bond and it reminds people of their childhood. Reconnecting with the past through good food, friends, and beer. What else do you need in life? Keep up the great work brother! Love your channel! BTW, we need to get you to a million subscribers! Best channel on UA-cam hands down!!!!
