Yes wheel spacers would suit the look of car beautifully What a lovely spot you have to work and a great workshop You are complete specialists well done
Best vid so far. Its like raising your child, putting your heart and soul into it. Like memphis said "I promise, you take care of me and ill take care of you."
Great content as always in your fantastic videos, Please upload more content like this, it is just enjoyable for us as Porsche enthusiasts watching the details you guys address with success 👍🏻
Great video,. A real credit to you guys that when you checked the clutch and noticed it was nearly new you decided to save your customer some money, not sure every garage would be quite so honest! 👍 Also agree spacers would look good as would yellow belts
Always great to see another speed yellow 996 get the FGP treatment!!! Since my car was last at FGP it hasn’t missed a beat and still drives ‘as new’ so credit to Luke and Ollie and I cannot recommend the guys highly enough.
I’ve done around 3000 miles in the last year or so as it’s strictly a ‘Sunday’ car and yet it can sit unused week to week yet still fires up 1st time, always putting a smile on my face 👍👍😁
Great video Luke. I like the idea of the many fixed price services you offer. That customer has future proofed and enhanced his car for a very reasonable outlay. If the customer doesn't need to access the rear seats I'd also opt for the recaro pole positions or CS instead of the factory hardbacks.
Beautiful car, love that colour. That’s also a lovely fiesta st you’ve got there 😉 I think I’ll be popping to you for a set of those coilies and gt3 shifter at some point 👍
That front disc at 10:00, is all that rust an issue? Yes to spacers. Here's a question for you: weedy dipped beam performance - what's a good upgrade for the 996 headlights?
I have some 996 hardback sport seats for sale and I’m relatively local to you. Not black but in the very dark blue so easy to re-connollise to black and would look new then…
Great video! I really like the fixed price menu. Do you guys do, or refer, for a full respray? Got a few areas that need doing but not sure if it needs a bunch of SMART work or just a respray. What would that even cost for a quick renewal of the pain with windows not being removed?
I upgraded with the same b16 suspension. Spent a lot of time trying to dial in the right height and drive feel. Car never felt right because if you look at the Bilstein installation manual there is ONLY 5mm of adjustability, if you’re outside of this window the car won’t feel 100%… look online, many people have reported the same.
Love the video. I have a 996.2, but am stuck on the tyre size. I have Carrera alloys with 285/30/18 which are pzero, but notice you have ps5 Michelin's in this. Are they the 265s on the 996.1? Can you get a ps5 combination for the 996.2. I know they don't do the stock size I mention, but what alternative sizes will fit on the Carrera rear wheel
Great upgrades and pricing guys ! Looking @ suspensions what is opinion on the Ohlins on the 996 as apposed the b16 ? Spacers would finish the car off , do you do a kit what was mentioned ? Thank you 🙏
Serious investment chaps, great work as ever on a lovely car. Just doing RSS mounts and consideration the 997 GT3 shifter, is it a short shift as standard? What’s it like? Is it notchy or does it feel right? I’m guessing it is a little notchy from cold? Pity I’m not a bit nearer as I’d love the centre console painting and just got some hard backed sports seats and be great to do them too 👌🏼😉
hi there I have watched some videos Very good jpb. I have a 996 3.4 lit I am thinking of ims. I live in Athens I am Greek I have 43000 km on it. I like DOF What do you say about this ? I bought a new engine in 2008 fom Porsche Germany when the car had 80.000 km for 15000 Euros and my old engine I dont know that kind of ball bearing the IMS has! Any idea? Thanks in advance
The reason the cable is made short, is so that the sound quality isn’t compromised. Otherwise, the 996.1 could have its USB box installed in the centre console under the arm rest.
Yes wheel spacers would suit the look of car beautifully

You guys put together great videos. Wish I lived closer, you'd be working on my 997. Keep posting!
Great content as always in your fantastic videos, Please upload more content like this, it is just enjoyable for us as Porsche enthusiasts watching the details you guys address with success 👍🏻
The Barber 💈 has made sure you won’t be back for a good few weeks
Great video lads 👏🏼
Excellent video, shows the transparency of the quality of work you carry out.
Great video,. A real credit to you guys that when you checked the clutch and noticed it was nearly new you decided to save your customer some money, not sure every garage would be quite so honest! 👍

I’d be delighted to be a customer of Friends Green Porsche.
Just love the Speed Yellow. My wife thinks it’s too lary, but I think it’s cool AF.
Top 🔝 work from you guys again!!! My 911 996 coupe will be coming back soon!!!!
Always great to see another speed yellow 996 get the FGP treatment!!! Since my car was last at FGP it hasn’t missed a beat and still drives ‘as new’ so credit to Luke and Ollie and I cannot recommend the guys highly enough.
Savage c4s you have, how many miles have you managed?
I’ve done around 3000 miles in the last year or so as it’s strictly a ‘Sunday’ car and yet it can sit unused week to week yet still fires up 1st time, always putting a smile on my face 👍👍😁
Really informative. Another great video…
Love the 2 piece wheels with the body kit 👌🏻
Keep up the great work guys
Great update, thanks for all the details.
Good news for 997 is PCCM+ will be coming as they go classic at end of the year.
That 996 looks bloody amazing!
Excellent you are perfectionists
The height adjustment enables a good tuner to corner ballance the car aswell while they're on 👌
Brilliant car, definitely needs the yellow belts to match the console. As always love your content 👍👍

Excellent video.
Another great video. Wish you were here in the states to care for my Porsche and to have a few beers with you and talk shop.
Did you change out the AC condenser? Its splitting apart at 10:44.
EDIT: Just got to 25:34, you did. Nice.
Nice job.
Beautiful car, love that colour.
That’s also a lovely fiesta st you’ve got there 😉
I think I’ll be popping to you for a set of those coilies and gt3 shifter at some point 👍
So when are you guys opening up a Charlotte, NC shop? Nicely nicely done...
The 996, especially this stunning beauty, might be nearing the turning point of being more desirable than the 997.
That front disc at 10:00, is all that rust an issue? Yes to spacers. Here's a question for you: weedy dipped beam performance - what's a good upgrade for the 996 headlights?
I have some 996 hardback sport seats for sale and I’m relatively local to you. Not black but in the very dark blue so easy to re-connollise to black and would look new then…
Are they created Stanley or just stock? Are the backs painted or just black/grey?
Great video. What’s your go to damper settings for road use? Cheers
Will the PCCM Plus accommodate a rear camera? Excellent video as always. Thanks again gents.
Do you know what brand the ducktail spoiler is on the silver 996 C2 parked outside the shop? That's one of the best ducktails I've seen on a 996.
Great video! I really like the fixed price menu. Do you guys do, or refer, for a full respray? Got a few areas that need doing but not sure if it needs a bunch of SMART work or just a respray. What would that even cost for a quick renewal of the pain with windows not being removed?

lovely looking car, I have a 996 with the GT3/Sport Design wheels (split rims) any recommendations on getting them refurbed?
Love the video. I have a 996.2, but am stuck on the tyre size. I have Carrera alloys with 285/30/18 which are pzero, but notice you have ps5 Michelin's in this. Are they the 265s on the 996.1? Fantastic looking car! I think looks-wise the spacers would look great and finish it off. But how would they affect the handling?
Great upgrades and pricing guys !

Spacers would finish the car off , do you do a kit what was mentioned ?
Thank you 🙏
Are the little lowered body kit items on the rear bumper that stick out OEM items?
Serious investment chaps, great work as ever on a lovely car. Just doing RSS mounts and consideration the 997 GT3 shifter, is it a short shift as standard? What’s it like? Where did the name of your channel come from?
The location of the garage, is "friends green"
How did you remove the soft paint from the center console to respray it?
Do you feel any difference between the PS4 and the PS5 driving experience wise?

Hi Luke
Whats under the covers ? perhaps a little video reveal ?
yeah definitely spacers
Is there a reason the cable isn’t long enough for the USB port to reach the glovebox on the 996.1? 😉
The reason the cable is made short, is so that the sound quality isn’t compromised. Otherwise, the 996.1 could have its USB box installed in the centre console under the arm rest.
Needs 15mm spacers front and rear.
Which bilstein coils do you guys prefer for the 996? I’m in the market to get some soon and would like to get the ones in the video
Enjoyable video but don't read notes whilst driving!
